  Espacio para el relax

  Un resort muy agradable acorde con las estrellas. Muy atentos todo su personal.Las cabañas son comodas ya que al pedir compartir eramos 4 de países distintos y no tuvimos problemas El desayuno era simple pero completo.La piscina limpia y con buen horario de apertura. La playa esta a 3 cuadras amplia limpia y con poca gente. El servicio del resort no incluía servicio de mucama . Tiene espacios de parillas para la barbacoa

  Great for kids

  Second time I have stayed here, my kids love the space to walk around and walk to beach. Quite and peaceful. Kids enjoy a swim in pool after being at beaches all day. Cabins are roomy and kids love the loft style room. 3.5 star and I believe fairly priced.

  Great spot!

  Our family of 4 loved our 4 night stay at this small resort. The kids (7 & 5) favourite part was the pool. Facilities: I loved the gardens, really felt like we were staying in a rainforest. We used the shared outdoor bbqs most nights for dinner which were useful, with bbq utensils and working lights. Theres a pool and wading pool which our kids used each day. The outdoor spa wasnt working while we were there. Tennis courts are available but we didnt use them. There is a games room, however most of the machines were out of order. The cabin had a sufficient kitchen for our stay, medium size fridge/freezer, pots, pans, bowls, etc. however no dishwasher, no washing machine or dryer, although the resort did have coin machines available. The air conditioner seemed to be too small for the space and was still very hot especially in the loft. There was a shower over bath, the bath was a tiny size but our kids loved it anyway. I couldnt get the window to stay open to let the steam out. There was a pedestal fan that we used in the bedroom. The bedroom was big enough and had lots of areas to store bags/clothes etc. the bed was a bit hard but bearable. Location: The location was excellent, very close to beach access and loads of great swimming spots nearby: Kellys beach( a shallow tidal area great for kids), Bargara Beach Basin (for snorkelling to see reef fish) and Elliot Heads inlet. Theres a Woolworths and Aldi 5 mins drive away. 10 mins drive to Mon Repos Turtle Conservation Centre, which was our initial draw card to this area. Definitely a must-see! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the negatives pointed out here didnt outweigh the wonderful location, relaxing vibe and lovely staff.

  Bulldozer Needed

  We had the unfortunate experience of staying at this resort last week for 3 nights and it was an experience we wouldn't want to repeat. Firstly, the resort is a good 30 minutes walk out of Bargara and there is nothing nearby. Anyway, our "Villa" which really is a very loose term for what was really a hut. Things didn't start well when we found a dead snake at the bottom of the steps leading to the "villa". Our verandah appeared as though it hadnt been swept in quite some time as was the door mat which was located in front of a rusting door frame. We entered the "villa" into what was akin to a sauna and it took a considerable time using the antiquated and barely working Air conditioning unit to get the temperature into something like acceptable. This small A/c was the only one and was totally inadequate for the room size but it was assisted by a pedestal fan ( K mart standard) in the bedroom! We kid you not! The whole decor was like something out of the '70s and the bathroom had to be seen to be believed. Firstly, the sink was open to the rest of the room. Secondly, you could enter the toilet only by opening the door and manipulating yourself around the toilet to close the door. Finally, the bathroom was the same and the shower was inside the bath with no grab rail to hold on to as you stepped up into it and again to get out. Very tiny indeed. Again the whole decor of the bathroom and toilet was like something out of the '70s. The whole place had a grubby feel about it, the gardens weren't well maintained and there was uneven paving in several areas. Inside the dining area at least two fly screens were ripped. We would like to leave on two positives though. All of the staff were really friendly and very positive to deal with and we had a reasonable meal on the one night we ate in the restaurant. Sadly, this place has seen better days and is in need of a massive overhaul and possibly a bulldozer!! Out of interest, we were with others and their' villas" were of a similar mediocre standard as ours.

  Great location, but rooms a little tired

  We spent one night and stayed in a bungalow. Just us two in a bungalow for 8 as that was all that was available. The room was spacious tv, aircon ect ect. Great location as a two hundred meter walk to the beach.
