  Pleasant but needs a desperate pick me up

  Booked this place last minute on our way back from a Koh Talu snorkelling trip. We read the reviews and decided to give it a try. We got a family villa which was basically 2 adjoining rooms. The place was pretty sad and could really use a spruce up by the ownership to make it acceptable. Pros: - staff helpful and really nice - good breakfast - unique room, outdoor shower was great - right on the beach which was virtually empty Cons: - pools were under renovation - overall cleanliness was not great - whole resort in real need of renovation - no Wifi in the room - AC was really dirty in our room

  Nice relaxing atmosphere

  Nice bungalow hotel. Staff very friendly. The beach is just across a non busy road. Great place to relax and chill out. The morning breakfast is just very simple with couple of dishes to choose from but enough. The bungalow I believe is the best part. Above ground, is all made in wood. Very clean and comfortable. Great king size bed, The mattress was just a bit hard, but this is normal all over Thailand. There is AC, roof fan, fridge and TV. The toilet is behind the bungalow in a sort of outside roofless private small courtyard. So toilet and shower are outside and another big shower under the stars..........if you need to have some spicy time with your partner I believe this is the place........

  Do Not Go Here!

  Took a bit of a risk going here, as the reviews were very mixed. Well the risk was not worth the 3.5 hour train ride! The area itself is really nice, like a small fishing village. Unfortunately this resort is run down, it would have been great in 2010, but it doesnt look like anything has been maintained since then!! No working pools, rooms were run down, no restaurant, 1 staff member, no amenities! Do not go here!!!

  Don't come if you not a chill person.

  The hotel is very nice with beautiful garden atmosphere. As my advice if you're not a chill person just pass this place. Room : Old but clean. Outdoor shower. Everything in room : Old but clean. Room decoration : Nice real wood. Food : Simple breakfast , no dinner. Pool : Very large, acceptable cleanliness. Staff : Ok but only few staff around. Do not expect any service here which I didn't because read all the poor reviews along the way. For me, I just love the real wood texture feeling and serenity here.

  run down and not useful staff

  We stayed here for 2 nights and stay in the family room which we pay nearly 6500THB for it. Totally NOT worth it. The whole place is run down, the swimming pool is super dirty (and the staff says we can swim in it), our toilet blocked, the bed is not comfortable, breakfast is sad and cold. Overall hotel need to renovated the whole place. Staff is also not useful in term of checking in and out. I have to wait for 20 min to get my key deposit back (I do have a copy of the receipt to prove). The only part I like is dog-friendly. And they do have a lot of garden area which is good for my dog but other than that would not recommend anybody to stay. For the price, you pay you should get a better place than this.
