  The best spot by the lake to view Mt Fuji

  It was unfortunate that on our arrival it was gloomy, dark and cloudy. No sighting of Mt Fuji. The villa is easy to find. The staff were professional and tried to make us settled in. Early in the morning, it was magical as Mt Fuji revealed itself. From my room window I can see it's majestic beauty. The apartment is complete with all the amenities needed. It was clean and well maintained. I guess there is increased booking in the villa as expansion project is ongoing.

  Amazing view that you cant find in other hotel

  This is my first time to visited Japan and I very impressed with this place view from room was so amazing you can see Fuji mt. from your room and there are yard for you to cook and have activities outside I'm sure when other saw your pic they all will asked you where is that place because of view so close to Fuji and at that date was my birthday I'm very happy to celebrated my birthday here. I will go back to this place again for sure!!!!

  Worst experience ever!

  I wonder if all these other reviews are paid or what. This place is like an old stinky apartment. I was also looking forward to the BBQ dinner what many other reviewers raved about but WARNING if you book same day like we did then they will tell you that you booked too late and NO dinner. I guess 6 hours is not enough time to prepare dinner, which of course it is. And since there are no good restaurants within 15-20 minutes of this secluded location it cost us 5000 yen round trip with a taxi to find decent food. Beware that the buses don't run in the evening. Anyway, aside from that, the hotel (not really a hotel more like a tired B&B) is not worth the money. And of the 3 nights we stayed at Mt Fuji in different hotels, this was by far the worst. Also note you have to check in before 8:30pm and check out is early at 10:00am. Seriously I am shocked by all the other reviews. It's not at all the place I thought it would be based on those reviews. Very disappointed. 2 stars because the scenery is beautiful nearby.

  BEDBUGS!!!!!

  BE CAREFUL DO NOT STAY HERE! The location is obviously good but the villa is covered in dust, obviously has not been cleaned recently. There were bugs all over the bedrooms and upon further inspection, the sheets had multiple blood stains, the key indicator of bed bugs. We slept on the floor the first night. The next morning we quickly informed staff of the problem and it took 7 hours for the manager to come talk to us. We were told they had cleaned the villa and left us blankets to sleep on the floor again with no remorse or indication of a refund. We pushed for a refund as we slept on the floor for 2 nights and after a whole day of arguing back and forth, they were only able to return a fourth of our payment. As we returned to our supposedly cleaned room, we saw the dust and dirt all over the floors still, meaning they didnt clean at all. We had to borrow a vacuum and clean it ourselves. The second night a member of our family recieved over 40 bed bug bites and when notifying the manager of the incident the next morning, he replied with nothing. This hotel does not care for its customers and does not clean adequately, which is unacceptable given the amount of guests they have. Please do not go here as we had to stop our vacation to wash and disinfect all our belongings to get rid of all bed bugs.

  Excellent! Totally recommend

  Spent one night and was great! House was fantastic, well furnished, very comfy and ultra modern. House is right in front of Mt Fuji. Next door to the house there are small shops really nice. Overall was great experience and I will come to stay again on my next trip to Mt Fuji... too bad we couldnt see it the Mt Fuji due to bad weather condition. Thank you to all the team also for their warm welcome.
