  Charming place, near to the gardens

  We stayed 5 nights here for a conference at the rosarium, which not to be missed. The rooms were typcvial small, but nice, no lift and we were on the top floor. Unfortunately we also hit near 100 degree weather and no AC or fans. First night was miserable. Rest of the stay was good. There is a small bar next door to visit with the locals. Most hotels in this town no don't have, and generally don't need AC. Breakfast was simple but good. If I return to Sangerhausen, I would stay here again. Staff was very nice, English a bit trying at times.

  comfortable hotel but a little outdated.

  I have been using this hotel during a company trip. We reserved almost all rooms because this was the only hotel in Sangerhausen which had sufficient rooms available. The hotel is a bit outdated although this is still common in this part of Germany. The hotel as well as the room is clean. breakfast is simple. Fine to use when traveling and for a night.
