  Great hotel

  This is one of the best hotels in Malia/ Crete. Everyone makes you feel special and treats you well. Great food and atmosphere plus great drinks. Rooms are clean and spacious with optional TV safe and aircon

  Best hotel in malia

  Just got back from the kastro beach having spent 2 weeks there. The staff are amazing and will help you with anything you need and can advise you on all things going on. I was a bit worried about covid but when i arrived at the hotel and seen all the things they had put in place i was more relaxed. Nikos and the team thank you very much for a memorable 2 weeks and i will be back next year

  FANTASTIC HOTEL AND BAR LOOK NO FURTHER!!!

  This is by far the best bar in malia without a shadow of a doubt, and the hotel is also fantastic always clean and well kept upto. The food is brilliant (I love the brekkies) and the staff are brilliant they will do anything they can to help you out I love the fact its family run and the staff are definitely apart of that. All in all if your planning on going to malia you must go see Nikos and the team and try Castro apartments for a well kept and well decorated hotel very close to the beach. Thank you for making are holiday brilliant!

  Fantastic Flip Flop & Masks Holiday 2020

  We arrived at Kastros Beach Apartments\Charlies bar 30 mins before closing and received the warmest welcome we have ever experienced. We were given the option to either go to our rooms or join the party for the last half hour, which needed to be done after travelling all day :) We stayed in room 301, this is a fantastic room with sea and mountain view either side. Our room was bright, modern with all facilities needed for a holiday and the rooms were cleaned regularly more than expected. Throughout our stay the attention from Nikos, his family and staff were wonderful, they made customers feel special and could not do enough for their guests. The atmosphere every night in Charlies Bar was electric, we met likeminded people and partied in Charlies bar most evenings (pre drinks were at 2pm) and we got up to a lot of pranks. All the cocktail were brilliant at Charlies, Gregory yours were the best the lemon slush should be tried, we couldnt get enough of them. We have already booked our holiday there for 2021 for a 50th birthday with the girls and cannot wait and hopefully COVID will be over and we can party longer. Even with COVID restriction Nikos had everything in place and everything was cleaned several times ie, the bar, tables & chairs to name a few, even if it was not used, it was cleaned again before a customer would be seated. We visited Nisos beach which is a minutes walk from Charlies Bar, they have double beach beds, fine sands, it was like being at a private beach. Kastros Beach apartments is a lively place to stay or visit for good food and drinks and I would recommend it for any age group who like the party atmosphere and to have a great time.

  AMAZING HOTEL!

  We booked here as it was the highest rated hotel on Trip Advisor... and we weren't disappointed!! The location of the hotel is amazing - it's right on the strip but far enough away that it's quiet. It's a 2 minute walk to the beach, and a 5 minute walk to the bars and nightclubs. We arrived at around 10pm, and were worried that we may have an issue checking in at that time. However, this was not the case at all. We had the warmest of greetings from all of the staff working at the hotel/bar. They all introduced themselves, carried our bags and took us to our room. They did temperature checks inline with covid guidelines. Already we were impressed! The room was basic, but was very clean and had everything we needed. The balcony had a great view over the strip, sea and mountains. The pool was also quite basic and was shared with another hotel. You weren't allowed to use the other hotels sun loungers, so on a couple of days we did find it difficult to find somewhere to go. So instead, we spent most of the days at the beach. I'd definitely recommend the Bikini Beach Bar (2 min walk from the hotel) - beautiful beach with comfy sunbeds! Each evening we started our night in Charlies Bar, their cocktails are so good!! The bar is also a really great way to meet others staying in the hotel. We made loads of friends while staying there! Then after the bars/clubs closed (at midnight due to covid curfew) we came back and chilled on the sun terrace. The staff even offered to make us toasties, this was so much better than eating from late night takeaways on the strip! What makes this hotel so special is the staff. They are so friendly and so welcoming, even taking the time to learn your names. They also give you free shots regularly! It's the first hotel I've ever been to where they actually treat you as friends rather than guests. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Malia, it is so good!! We will be back next year.
