  Just for a night in Surin, elephant province

  How it is so difficult to find a decent hotel in this province! The photos and the reviews did not help much. We booked this hotel on hotelbooking website and were disappointed by the size of the room. So we had to pay more to upgrade the room from the one floor building to three floors buildings on the back of the hotel. We checked in on new year festival and we had to wait so long as the responsible staffs were having staff-party! You can imagine that that night we heard music/karaoke until very late at night. I also remembered hearing wall gecko allnight. I was sure also that the room next door had their dog with them. Anyway, overall the room was clean.

  don't bother

  We had booked this hotel for 4 nights but only stayed one. The room was filthy and the sink and shower were full of mould. The room had 3 gheckos living in it and I think they must have been there for a while plus an army of ants all over the walls. Some of the staff tried to understand us but no one was bothered when we said we would be leaving. If you like to share dirty space with the wildlife this is the place for you.

  Very sufficient

  The previous two reviews are too harsh do not expect to necessarily have the same experience. We found this hotel on the off-chance since the other one we were looking for was too hard to find. We were pretty impressed with what we found. The rooms are nothing necessarily special but had everything we wanted. The bathroom and shower were very clean. There was a TV, fridge, air-con, wardrobe and they have fast internet. The man on the desk was very polite and helpful. If I was staying in this city again I would go back to this place, it was a good price at 450 too.

  I liked this hotel

  I stayed in a room here for 3 nights last week . I payed for one of the back block rooms . I really liked the staff here I liked the location off the hotel . The room was nice clean quiet . There were geckos around but it's Thailand they're everywhere . I would stay here in the larger rooms anytime .
