  An absolute gem!

  So easy to check in and check out. Amazing clean and bright room, with beautiful colourful decor. So fresh and inviting. A lovely size room, with added lounge chairs and small dining table with chairs, plus coffee/tea making facilities. The bed was super comfortable. Also the external area had lovely touches with benches or tables and chairs to enjoy a coffee or wine. I had read a review commenting about the undercover parking but did not think much of it until there was heavy downpour the evening we were booked in and I was so thankful for that undercover parking. The garden is beautifully maintained and has a barbecue and eating area with benches. Being off the highway it is surprisingly so quiet, bliss after driving a few hours. My family commented that next time we would stay more than one night.

  Great stay

  We really enjoyed our stay. The motel itself is about 40 mins out of the main areas of Port Stephen's ( Nelson bay, shoal bay, Fingal bay ect) however its situated in a quieter area and the main attractions are easily accessible. Great value for money. You can go do all the tourist things and come back to a good nights rest. The owner's were really nice and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. There is a cafe and IGA around the corner and coles, bws, resturants about 12 mins drive away. The motel was very clean and the room had everything we needed.

  Last Minute Gem !!!

  A last minute booking for 6 nights turned out to be perfect for exploring Port Stephens and the Hunter regions. Clean, comfortable and very affordable Value for Money. Close to Tea Gardens/Hawks nest, Nelsons Bay New Castle and the Hunter Valley. Would highly recommend if just needing a clean and comfy stay

  Comfortable renovated older motel

  This motel was clean and comfortable in a quiet garden setting a short walk from the centre of town. The main room décor and furnishings have been nicely renovated. The bathroom still had the original tiling and was looking a little tired but was clean with good water pressure. Bedding and towels were good. A kettle and coffee etc was provided and there was seating outside each room plus the garden and a bbq area. The addition of a toaster and a couple of plates and some cutlery would be a great bonus for self-catering however the motel is a short walk from town where there are multiple eating options in all price ranges. There was an old but working air con unit with the added benefit of a screened opening window as an alternative. All in all, a great place to stay for the price tag.

  Quiet stop over

  Fine for a stopover for our little family. Lovely chatty helpful host. We had a play at the park by the river & spotted dolphins frolicking in the water then had a relaxing dinner at the welcoming RSL club while the kids played at the indoor playground. Only negatives were the aircon was a little noisy & didn't really appreciate other guests smoking right outside our door especially when you have young children.
