  Easter experience

  Last 2 years we started to spend extended weekends and holidays in Hungary. This hotel we booked for Easter holiday. First - very positive surprice was extra service (we booked halfboard) - we got coupon for lunch soups, coffee, welcome drinks and desserts. We really enjoyed wellness with our 3 years old son. Our room was big enough and we appreciated that room was situated on 1st floor at the end of corridor. For kids there are 2 indoor kids rooms and 1 exdoor. Food in restaurant was in standard quality and we really liked coctails which we could drink in wellness zone. I would only recommend to add egg hunting in garden as we could see in other hotels, this we missed for our son. We are not very demanding with room but I can see that some parts of especially bathroom (higher shelves were not clened for longer period. I would return to this hotel, I liked the area and close restaurants and lake. Its nice place for families.

  Zalakaros Karos Spa

  Gondold át! A szálloda próbálja a szebb arcát mutatni a hírdetésekben, de ez sajnos élben nem mködik! Retro hangulat jellemzi a helyet. A szobák nyitását manyag órákkal oldják meg, ami nem mindíg praktikus, mert ha már az emberen van óra es valamilyen karköt, akkor növeszthet egy új kart amire a zöld (standolós) órát felbiggyeszti. A szobákban a szekrények befogadóképessége ersen korlátozott (kicsi)! Az álmenyezet leázva díszíti a szoba folyosóját. A szoba frdszobájában a kád a divat, a tusolást is kádban kell végezni, mint valami panellakásban. A kád környékén megjelen penész eléggé lehangoló látvány. A szobában a konnektorokat vadászni kell! (Össz.:4db van, amibl 3 foglalt) Megérkezésünk óta kb.:40 perc, többször is tanakodtunk a szálloda elhagyásán, az alacsony színvonal miatt, ami az árban eggyáltalán nem látszik! Nem ajánlott kategoria! Think about it! The hotel is trying to show off its beautiful face in advertisements, but unfortunately it doesn't work live! Retro mood characterizes the place. The opening of the rooms is done with plastic watches, which is not always practical, because if you have an hour and a bracelet you can grow a new lever to beat the green (rack) clock. In the rooms, the capacity of the cabinets is very limited (small)! The ceiling is soaking up the hallway of the room. In the room of the room, the tub is in fashion, and the shower must be done in a bathtub as in a flat panel. The mold around the tub is a pretty depressing sight. In the room, the sockets must be hunted! (Total: 4pcs, of which 3 are occupied) Approximately 40 minutes since we arrived, we have repeatedly talked about leaving the hotel because of the low standard that is not visible in the price! Not recommended category!

  Very poor hotel...food catastrophic

  Where is hotel 4 superior??? Old hotel...very big building without atmosphere,like military house! Rooms clear and good warm... Self service dinner Is very poor and sad... Breakfast sufficient. Spa I don't know!! I don't back ...this is sure!

  A good value and attractive surroundings

  Zalakaros is a beautiful city of Mediterranean climate in Hungary. The hotel is fairly new and attractive with several pools - including one thermal water pool so there is no need to go across the street to the open and very large public pool complex for thermal water. They provide breakfast and dinner with your reservation and a variety of room types to choose from. I've every intention to return again and again.

  More expected

  We were visiting Karos spa August 21- till 24 2019 ,2 adults and 1 seven and half years old boy. Room was very clean and moder, refurbished, fridge not cold. A few things should be changed also which was not done like towel dryer, shower hose, leakage from cealing. Corridor nicely refurbished also. The food choice was not too much, but tasty. The pool bar was very enjoyable and the food was good also there. Evening time nothing was going on. No entertainment at all, no live music or open bar. The bar was open only by the pool, but the weather was cold already. In the hallway 2 ping pont tables and 2 x box with very agressive game which was not supervised at all by anybody. Small kids were playing with bloody games. The staff were very helpfull and friendly. I think we did not get for our many what we paid for. Last year we stayd in the ParkInn and i think that one is a better choice from my point of view.
