  Modern but quaint

  It took awhile to get there. We arrived late but they kindly took our dinner orders on the phone so that we could eat upon arrival. The waiter was helpful. The food was well cooked but nothing out of this world. The dining area has pink pillars. The hotel is modern yet quaint. The rooms are tastefully decorated. Pity that there is no shower and only a bath. It was a comfortable stay. But the hotel felt that it needed to be more 'lived in' to develop a personality of its own. The takeaway breakfast was far too oily, leaving an aftertaste.

  BEAUTIFUL AND VERY QUIET

  Lodged here from 13th May 2017, for one night only. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The breakfast is quite good, simple and offers both hot & cold foods. The rooms could do with a carpet or a rug, it felt a little empty without a carpet. There is no WiFi in the rooms, I had to go to the reception for internet connectivity.

  Best of both

  I had my own doubts before visiting here. Here's how the story goes, the lady who works at reception during the day needs serious training. 1. We made a booking through their online booking form on the website, called to find out if she received it. She said she's not sure if that works or not. We forgave her, as these things happen. 2. Emailed her, she didn't get back to us. When I called asking of my booking was confirmed, she told me, the email is not in her mailbox, this time patience was wearing thin, I resent and when she eventually received it, instead of confirming my booking, she sent me a message "Thank you for your business". Eventually, the night of 03 November arrived, when I got there, the manager on duty was just sooooooo helpful. The initial room he allocated us had no bathtub, he went out of the call of duty, going from room to room, till he found us a decent room. Bless this man. The rooms are very huge, and clean. The restaurant staff is also friendly, they offer both cold and hot breakfast.You have a choice between the lodge side and the hotel side, and both are equally great. Nice garden and hall for functions.Unlimited high speed internet at the lodge and restaurant side.

  Business meeting

  A wonderful place for a bosberaad. The food is amazing. I am a foodie and love vegan meals. This place caters for all. Meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. Great food with just herbs and salt. The accommodation is of high standard. There is a choice of a hotel or chalets. The people are caring and warm. Just 20km out of Tzaneen town and an hour and half drive from Polokwane. Its a great place to go just to unwind.
