  very cute

  good food nice decoration. Music was great on the weekend. However one of the rooms was above the party room and the noise was intolerable all night. Don't take rooms in the back. Great steak in the restaurant

  Fantastic traditional cuisine with excellent service

  We visited with a group of 4 on a quiet weekday lunch time. Place has an awesome atmosphere and decor. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. All the food took a while but it was worth the wait. The soups, the meats, pierogi - all dishes were truly fantastic. Fully recommended restaurant.

  This is a restaurant, nothing hotel, arrogant staff.

  This is a restaurant with additional rooms, this ain't a hotel. There is a small reception in the hallway and you can push a button after no one shows up. You have to look into the restaurant and one of the waiters need to help you. They look cranky while I was waiting there as if I bothered them with our arrival. Same situation during checkout. I ate in the restaurant, pretty expensive for Polish standards, starter was okay, while my friend was still eating the starter a waiter brought the soups in stead of apologize for his mistakes he just served the soup on the table. That was getting cold while finishing our starter. I ordered goose breast from the English menu. I don't what got lost in the translation but it was most definitely no goose breast. The meat was dry, the vegetables were the best part of the diner. Don't mind to pay premium but expect better food than what was served. A big part of a hotel experience is the staff and feeling welcome. The staff, except for one woman behind the bar, were rude, not friendly and arrogant. Big no no for a hotel. The shower in the whirlpool, room 13, was broken and leaked water all over the bathroom. The whirlpool suction protection cap was broken so I've got a nice suction mark on my leg. The whirlpool water jets didn't work very well. The decor is amazing but does not make up for the staff.

  The best food and atmosphere in the area

  I have been visiting Karczma for years, in early 2000s as an interpreter with groups of Ukranian guests and also from time to time with my friends for a treat. In 2009 I had my wedding reception there and my English family stayed at the hotel. We always come back and are always welcomed by the staff- Wojtek, Bartek, Adam and Adrian and a couple of other lads. Best food and unique atmosphere

  Best food and folk design

  I am a fan of the old Polish 'folk' style. Karczma Rzym is the essence of Polishness. It looks like Master Twardowski himself was to stand in the door and a devil appears at the bottom of the vodka glass. I really appreciate also the localization - the forest at the back of the restaurant and hotel. Also, appreciate a small winter garden at the back. Looks like everything is fresh and just made. A very good place for families, also with kids.
