It was okay except Checkin and check out processBooking process, room, food were okay Hiking trip was awesome Snorkeling trip was quite boring as they brought us to 1 point only Checkin process was bit ridiculous as they ask for rm50 for deposit even I've already paid for the whole package Checkout process also quite dissapointing as I was asked to bring along towel and aircond control to the counter even I've already got into long Q (he said I won't get ba k my rm 50 if din do so)

Just poor maintenance and serviceThis resort maybe just for two nights is ok .start from we arrived need to wait for 2 hours to get the room key. The room is very basic if u have high expectations maybe not the place you want to stay . Was dirty and noisy with all the construction on next to the building and plus i found hair everywhere and cockroaches under the bed.location is nice close to the beach .Food very bad and serve in small portions. Better eat at next door restaurant. This resort is made for local people . If u really want a nice nature stay there are many nice small resort on the island who provide better service.

The hotel should be closed for the Island's sake! This hotel is bringing mass tourism to Kapas, organizing cheap chartered tours on WE, bringing thousands on people on WE or holidays, even for 1 day or half day. They provide food and drinks in plastic containers + bags that people throw away right on the beach. There is a lack of bins but obviously the management doesn't care forstering soo much waste, nor educating people, and no staff removes the plastic waste, even just in front of the hotel! People step on the coral during hours in their life-jacket. If they carry on like this, in 3 years they will have managed to kill the island and Coral and can change their name!!! and they will have killed their own business!!! It is terrible! I am surprised no organization like "Zero Waste", "Trash heroes", seem to be present here. The management seems to have good connection with the local government in Marang so it will be hard to bring changes that might affect their business (in their short term view). It is urgent that the national park puts an entrancee fee as do most others, and with this money they could pay staff to watch the beaches, tells people off when stepping on the coral or throwing waste, maybe fine them, and organizes proper waste management. It should also be forbidden to bring plastic-wrapped food on the island, plastic plates, glasses... And proper water should be provided from mainland by the government from to reduce the huge amount of plastic bottles brought daily to the island as teh water here is semi-salty. Then hotels could offer refill stations as in Tioman, which is much more environment aware and friendly.
