  We stayed for 7 nights in July for the Womens World Cup. We used Kanopee Village as our base & we felt the site had everything we needed to relax on our rest days. The site is great & is situated within a beautiful town. There is well stocked shop & fresh bread delivered daily. If youre coming here for a holiday, its good choice. For feedback, it would be nice to have some sort of a welcome back in the chalets. I think it would be easier in terms of relaying information to guests i.e pool opening times, how to obtain wristbands, available equipment for hire, activities availability / where to book. Was disappointed that the pool wasnt open everyday, with the weather as hot as its been it would of been great for guests to have access especially during the summer as the heat was so difficult with having no air conditioning. We were always able find out any information we needed, Veronique was always on hand to answer any questions we had. If not, I would message through Facebook & would always get back to us. Our accommodation was clean, modern & comfortable. The site was friendly & everyone was respectful of one another (just watch your flags!). Bare in mind, the hardest problem we had was travelling, it was a nightmare especially at night. Consider car hire if youre wishing to travel in to Lyon & stay out. Getting back is difficult with taxi being your only option & can cost in the region of 100. Uber drivers & hard to come by but if youre using the app, select cash as your payment option as once you authorise a journey by card the funds can be pre authorised even if youre journey hasnt been fulfilled & it can take up to 7 days for the funds to show back in your account. I really enjoyed our time at Kanopee Village & would definitely consider returning in the future. Its a beautiful part of the world. Thank you for looking after us!

  Brilliant over night stop

  We stayed for two nights on the way down to south of France. Location good not too far from motorway - lovely location with the river for a walk in the evening, lovely town a short walk away but not much in the way of restaurants if youre looking for a meal. Great play park just by the river for children. And massive bonus of having the little aquapark next door which is free for campers. This was just a little walk away. Site facilities were clean enough and often saw cleaners there. It was quite noisy at night and even had fireworks being let off by people near by with young children this wasnt great. We had a bench the other side of the fencing where public would sit and talk and drink!! This again was a bit annoying. All in all good for little stop over and would visit again.

  3 night stay

  we stayed for 2 nights on our to Italy. site was very nice, good location in Trevoux. toilets and showers were clean. its right beside a river lovely walks around Trevoux and along the river, its worth taking a trip to Lyon its a lovely city we went on a bus tour of Lyon i would recommend it plenty of parking in the city

  Perfect for Families

  We absolutely loved this campsite and would recommend to families either for a short break or for a quick stop (as we did both ways) down to the south of France. Location is perfect, just north of Lyon, lovely little town with a couple of restaurants. The campsite is reasonably small, with nice showers, big pitches and plenty of shade if you need it (we were there for the heatwave). The use of the cascades pool makes this place even better, its a nice big pool with a couple of slides and cafe. Lots of space for sunbathing and shade too. I just really liked this campsite and will definitely be going back :-)

  Not quite as described.

  A big attraction for us was to go to this site as it advertises a water park and on site pool. We booked up through pitchup and it described all the facilities. On arrival we found the water park to be closed (due to Covid) and the pool was a 5k drive at another campsite. We wouldnt have minded if we had known before hand but the children were excited. In the end we went to the other sites pool but it had to cater for 2 campsites so was too busy to use. The price of the pitch was one of the highest that we experienced throughout France and Corsica and given the reduction in facilities we would have liked more notice and the price adjusted to reflect this. Site was clean and pitches big and in a good location for the river.
