  Good stay but not central

  This collection of Villas are not centrally located but then again they don't claim to be. There is a beach close by but it wasn't recommended that we visit it but instead head to the strip where the large hotels are. Check in was quick and due to the off peak period we were allowed to select which of the 2 bed villas we wanted. The first 2 bed villas wasn't appropriate for my companion who has accessibility needs but felt brighter and a lot cooler. The villa we stayed in was large and decorated with traditional balinese artefacts. It also had a large outdoor space located right next to the pool. The only issue i had was that the lounge area was incredibly hot and without AC - we had to request an additional fan. The villa was also very dark with little natural light in the main spaces. This wasn't the same for the other villas. The only other thing to note is the roosters. If you sleep lightly like me then you will be woken up at dawn. There is a free one way shuttle to take you to the main strip/beach but you will need to take a blue bird taxi back. On the whole it is a pleasant property with tranquil gardens and beautiful pool.

  Affordable heaven in earth with a extremely dedicated team

  We booked this place for our honeymoon off season and it turned out to be a great experience. This place is a little bit off-centered and it's a good point as you can have the time to enjoy your stay in a safe and calm place. A swimming pool at our disposal was very well thought to help us relax after a full day of trip. Available all the time with the best manager we ever know (Nurita), Sila and all the other smiling team members were very helpful be it to order food, giving some piece of advice for some trips we wanted to visit or simply to help us understand how to fully enjoy our stay. We do recommend Villa Kampung Kecil and thank all the team for their work because they work conscienciously with their heart to be the banner of the Balinese hospitality.   wonderful stay at villa kampung kecil

  This was the first stay during our vacation for four nights, because we would also be traveling around Bali. We enjoyed these four days so much that we also spent the last week of our vacation at villa kampung kecil. The villas are very spacious and fully equipped. There is also a lot of attention to detail, the villas are beautiful, perfectly clean, there is enough privacy and the service is excellent! The breakfast is delicious and there is plenty of choice, if necessary something will be made for you on request. The staff does everything to ensure you have a great holiday. Bicycles can be borrowed and if you want to go to the center you will be taken there by the driver (shuttle). In the neighborhood there are also plenty of restaurants and warungs where you can eat something (walking distance). If you need anything or order massages :), you can always ask Nuri for help. We really felt at home here and would definitely stay here for a few more days on a next trip to Bali. We thank all the staff at villa kampung kecil for a wonderful time.   Traditional, dark teak wood villa for large families!

  Being a larger family and it being our 1st time in Bali, I was searching for the perfect place to stay. I wanted dark teal woods, bug nets, traditional decor, a nice pool, more then 1 bathroom in suite, separate bedrooms, breakfast included and a location that was away from the touristy hotels.. Kampung Kecil provided all of that! Their staff was nothing short of amazing! Because we stayed at the villa so long (17 days) they provided us with hotel transfers and also one way shuttle (daily) to anywhere in Sanur that we wanted! The owner Nelly, and her staff were more than accommodating and provided everything I needed plus more. (They ordered take out for us, provided pool toys for the kids, gave our kids chocolates on Christmas, dropped off and picked up my laundry and even made special arrangements for an extra early breakfast on our excursion day) Everything was great! Each of the 6 villa onsite are different. We stayed in the Purwodadi Villa. The pool area was very shady(great for the kids). If you are looking for full sun to tan, there were limited spots and required me to move the lounger to the sun area.(not a big deal) The only thing I want to make note of was the neighbours had a rooster and dogs. Each morning we were awoken by dogs barking or by the ol rooster. This doesnt affect my rating for the villa in anyway. After a few days we were used to hearing the rooster and didnt pay much attention to it. But if roosters and dogs arent your thing you may want to keep this in mind. Otherwise, Kampung Kecil Villa was terrific and met all my expectations!

  A hidden treasure

  We spent 6 days in this wonderful place and enjoyed every moment. The whole set-up is amazing. Traditional Balinese Houses combined with modern amenities (Air conditioning, bathrooms, kitchen). So much love for details everywhere, such tasteful furnishing. And after a hot day in Denpasar it 's simply perfect to unwind at the tranquillity of the pool. But it wouldn't be this perfect without the amazing staff.
