  Great location

  1st the good stuff. The resort is in a great location directly across the street from a nice beach, easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. In the little plaza across the street don't miss Maui Bread company, but get there early for some of the breakfast items. Maui Fish & chips and the teriyaki place were great. Very low key for some quick meals and you can take them right across the street to the beach. "Barmuda" triangle is only a mile away, plenty of restaurants bars and shops to choose from. Great part of the island, it was sunny every day even when there was rain on other parts of the island. I enjoyed this being a small property, sometimes with the big resorts you are really far from the beach and it takes 15 minutes to get to your car. We parked right in front of our unit which made it easy for groceries, beach chairs etc. Now the bad - the units are very dated. Beds and couch were uncomfortable, I know you don't go to Maui to hang out in your room, but at the end of the day it would have been nice to come back and be able to relax in a nice setting. I always look forward to great sleep at resorts, but this bed was just ok. Couldn't wait to get home to my bed. On the RCI site it said they had maid service once during the week stay, but we never had any. Older property, small office no real concierge or site activities. Overall you get what you pay for.

  Amazing view and location. Friendly prompt staff, beautiful grounds. The unit is dated, needs new flooring or carpet.

  The floor got my feet black on the bottom right away every time I got out of the shower or if came in and washed sand off my feet. I like the bottom of my feet to stay clean while walking around the house. I'd have liked the floor to have been cleaned better. I was one person in the unit and didn't track dirt in as I took shoes off to walk on what I hoped was a clean floor.

  Excellent Beach Location

  Kamaole Beach Club is a WONDERFUL resort in Maui. Walk across street to fantastic beach. Complex is small, clean and quiet. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Mattress is very comfortable. Grounds are well kept. Unit provided beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and coolers. There is also a nice pool to use when the afternoon beach winds pick up. I highly recommend this resort!

  Great Location on a Beautiful Beach

  The property is a 90-second walk to a beautiful beach, and we had a beach view from our first floor unit.. Resort is older, but well maintained for a resort this age (no king bed in our unit, no walk in shower - but well equipped kitchen, beautiful landscaping, nice pool). GREAT location for easy access to all you need - much is within walking distance. Gave this a 5-star due to location, views and access.

  GREAT LOCATION. OK amenities.

  Right across the street from a great, sandy beach. Rooms open onto a nice enclosed grassy area, excellent for kids to run around. Rooms need a little maintenance, but overall, not bad. Kitchens have a good selection of utensils. Air conditioning is a portable AC unit. sufficient for the downstairs, but the upstairs got a bit warm. Had to leave the windows open at night for the breeze, but had the waves crashing on the beach to lull me to sleep
