  Increíbles vistas!!!

  Muy limpio y cerca del daibutsu y la estación de tren, empleados amables y la habitación de fumar no huele para nada a cigarro!!!

  If walking to hotel from Shichirigahama station, don't follow Google Maps, take coastal route instead

  We concur with the other reviews re: "nice, comfortable, functional". It has a nice view, and it located close to the beach/ocean but is somewhat isolated. One hint, if walking from Shirigahama station, do not follow Goggle Maps. Google Maps will take you through a residential district, up the hill to the regular entrance to the hotel, about a 10 to 15 minute walk. Take the coastal route instead. After turning left on the road up the hill to the hotel, cross the street, to the Kamakura Price hotel convention/conference center. The conference center has a funicular (a cable car, that goes up an incline) that connects the conference center to the lobby of the hotel. it will save you the walk up/down the hill, and cuts the walking time to Shichirigahama station to 5-10 minutes.

  Excellent views of beach and Mt. Fuji

  This is the best place to stay in Kamakura. Every room faces the ocean, with glass windows from floor to ceiling and a tiny balcony one person can stand in, if needed. Woke up to an amazing view of Mt. Fuji right outside our window. The lobby feels old, with a small casual place to grab a bite. They have a very big store in the lobby with lots of beautiful clothes but they're pricey. They also have a small convenient store with your basics, with is convenient. We were surprised there was no ice machine. We had to buy ice form their little store! They don't advertise this as much as they should: they offer a shuttle bus to the nearby train station every hour. Sadly, it stops at 5. They should extend it to maybe 8 pm? There are numerous restaurants, a pharmacy and a supermarket within walking distance. Too cold to go to the pool but it looked very nice. Overall, given the area, this was the perfect spot for us.

  Quiet hotel by sea

  This is a resort style hotel in the hilly area of Kamakura (hour to two hours from Tokyo) Check in is efficient and breakfast is in this large room overseeing sea. Room has central heating and not able to turn down. Free WiFi for 7 days is convenient. Room is reasonable but bathroom slightly smaller than some hotels. Heated toilet seats. The area is scenic and serene but only has cafes nearby and not bars. Taxi from Kamakura station is 2000 yen.

  Fantastic sea view and a glimpse of Mt Fuji

  This locate is very close to the beach and is next to a golf course. They also have parking onsite with parking fee around 1000 yen per night, so it's also convenient for those driving to Kamakura. The hotel is a bit out dated but rooms were clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Each room has a big glass window looking toward the sea and a small balcony to enjoy a bit of sea breeze. We stayed for 2 nights and were lucky that on our last day of stay, we were able to catch a glimpse of Mt Fuji from our hotel room. That was one of our highlight for the trip. Overall, a good hotel for people wants a quite and vacation like stay.
