  Stunning Waterfront Apartments

  Our family of 3 recently stayed here and it was certainly the highlight of our South Island holiday. The apartments were amazing with stunning sea views. Exceptionally clean with everything you could want for an overnight stay. We just wished we could have stayed longer. Would highly recommend this outstanding accommodation. We will be back!

  Price hiking

  I am not normally inclined to leave reviews, however when a service provider uses unethical methods to extract more money from its patrons I feel compelled to provide appropriate warnings to others. This week after a long recovery from an injury we decided to book a stay in Kaikoura to celebrate a milestone. We found a 2 bedroom apartment online for $588 for 2 nights and contacted the Kaikoura Waterfront apartments by phone to support local businesses and book direct. I explained that the accommodation was advertised on booking.com for $550; I was offered the booking for $525 and happily accepted and provided my details. However when I received confirmation by email the bill was for $624, not as agreed. I responded by email to get a resolution to the mistake but did not receive a reply. The next day I followed up with a phone call to Michelle, who was not very friendly and a refused to honour our agreement. I will not be booking at this establishment again as management attempted to charge me more than the agreed amount and reading other reviews confirms this is common practice at this establishment.

  Excellent Accommodation and Staff

  I have stayed here multiple times in the last year because of the great rooms, comfortable beds and excellent staff. Michelle is always super friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect. I'll be back!

  Fabulous accommodation

  Manger was so helpful and kind of all aspects of my stay. I even got an upgraded. I am so coming back to stay there again. Very handy walking distance too the township. Great help of what kaikoura has to offer and the right people to get in touch with to do tours. I am so pleased I stayed there. Helen

  very clean and tidy great views

  management and staff very accomoditing units very clean was awesome stay will be back very well priced well done to all was so nice to have management etc to provide a great service and with so much local knowledge etc after their earthquakes and for places to go amazing loved kaikoura so much thank you to all
