  good for Muslims and canton fair

  my recent stay in Guangzhou was at the junshan hotel. i was there for 3 nights. this is a 3 star property, located walking distance from the sanyuanli metro station. maybe 200 meters. like all hotels during the canton fair, the hotel offers free shuttle service to and from the canton fair. the hotel is near the railway station, very convenient, good comfort, and remarkable air conditioning. the breakfast is not so good, but for dinner, the hotel surround some Muslim restaurants, and a Mc.Donalds 24hour open is nearby if you are a fish fan. there is wireless internet, the checkin was very quick, the bed is a bit hard, but i like hard beds. the pillows need to improve. overall i would recommend this hotel if you are looking for something under $80 during the canton fair.

  The worst hotel in my entire life

  Front desk - except for 1-2 out of 6 maybe, all are rude, and so vague! They say there is a minibar but all there is is a room with a tiny water dispenser that has a heater. And 2 bottles of water. They say air conditioned, but you can hardly feel the blowing from the a/c if you put your hand a feet away from the air vent. The walls have molds. The carpet is filthy. The toilet and bath has molds, the toiletries are cheap. The towels stink. They knock on your door even at 10-11pm just to collect more deposit. They let you carry your own luggage to another room like what happened to me cuz I complained about my Aircon. The water heater does not work. There is an exception of this bell boy and cleaning ladies who seem to have better breeding than the front desk people. They are lazy and talk behind your back or in front of the guest mumbling seemingly insulting things when they have to be professional especially when they know guests don't understand them. They like to frown all the time. The lobby is excruciatingly hot. One day there was even a rat that ran from the curtain to under the bed.

  Disappointing 6.3

  Good location and near to shopping center. (Good about this hotel) Please update hotel information from time to time and always ensure the condition of the room in good condition. I am disappointed with the hotel because the internet told that there is a restaurant that sells halal food but when I had reached the restaurant has closed and ceased operations. I also hope that the hotel can provide airport pick-up. Because there was no airport pick-up, I had to spend rmb 400 for a taxi. (Need to be improved)

  Dissappointed client

  I was booked in Junshan hotel in Guangzhou from 17th to 24th July 2016. This is the worst hotel among all the hotels I have been. In the first place the room I was booked in was very dirty with old beddings. As if that was not enough this room had a lot of bedbugs. These blood sucking insects feasted on our blood which forced us to protest to the reception staff who unfortunately were very rude. Eventually they changed us to another room which was no better. However this room had no blood sucking insects. A few more things to mention the cleaning staff is very rude same as for the reception staff. In summary I would not recommend my friends to use this hotel. On my next trip to China I will book another hotel and never Junshan hotel.

  Never Ever

  Please do not ever book this hotel.I booked this hotels two days prior to arriving for a exhibition . I reached the hotel at 11 pm and reception refuse accept my booking because they were full.Its dirty place and not safe for people traveling with family because it is not on the main road.
