    Perfect Golf Escape

A tastefully and thoughtfully restructured historic home that sits at the entrance and overlooks Pine Lakes Golf Course. Two of us stayed two nights as part of a golf package to play several golf courses in the area. Our upstairs room was spacious with a sizable TV, window air conditioning, remote controlled gas fireplace, jacuzzi, mini fridge, and large bathroom with a jetted tub/shower combo. The house has a number of common spaces with varying amenities which we didn't use during our stay. We were served a satisfying preset hot plated breakfast each morning and were able to enjoy on the large rear deck that overlooks the grounds and course. The staff was very friendly and guest oriented. This would be a perfect setting for couples, small groups, or larger golf groups. Free parking, one ADA accessible downstairs bedroom, and a nice rear entry reception area. Conveniently located to a number of quality golf courses. Would certainly recommend.

    Could have been better

We had stayed here twice before and it was nice. I must say management needs much improvement. Received a March madness email saying any room for $99. I wanted to book 10/20....my boyfriends birthday, our 9-yr anniversary and sweetest day. But at the time of booking the whole place was booked so i settled for 11/3. In early October I looked at their website and it was cleared all but two rooms on 10/20...but the room I booked on 11/3 was open. I immediately called to change my date. I was given the run around...stating black out dates etc and I checked my email and that wasnt mentioned. So she said shed check with someone else and call back. The next day she called and said well, I could pay another $50....I said no, or wait to the Monday before and call. So as of that Monday I called and again blah blah blah but the room was still not booked. Finally on Thursday she said ok. Sooooo....she gave me a door code to get in because she probably wouldnt be there when we arrived. She was there. I checked the room and asked where we could get ice. She said Ill get u a bucket but Im locking the kitchen so keep it in your fridge itll last longer. The other two couples werent there yet...so no ice for them. She said breakfast at 9...and out the door she went. No access to extra towels, ice, etc. the fireplace didnt work in the parlor. Room was nice but the rug was pretty dirty. Breakfast was ok but nothing to brag about. We will not be a repeat customer. It could be so much more with management that cared. Sad.....

    One night get-a-way

Spent one night here with my wife on our 47th wedding anniversary. Beautiful old home with superb accommodations. Love this place. This was our 5th time to stay here. Rooms have gas fireplaces, large jacuzzi tubs, nice terry robes. Breakfast is served at 9 am and is a full breakfast affair. WE had eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, toast, English muffins, cereal, juice (4 kinds) and coffee. A great place. We love it and will be going again.

    One night getaway

We were traveling and took advantage of the trip to spend one night at Julia's. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and breakfast in the morning. They were very accommodating concerning our dietary needs, the room was lovely, and the massage was very relaxing. We'd love to stay again soon!

    Lovely little b & b

We had a lovely weekend staying at Julia's Bed and Breakfast. It was quiet and cozy for sure. The breakfast was quite good and the hospitality was excellent. The b &b is not full timed staff, at least not while we were there, but we did not want for anything. I forgot a necklace and it was very quickly mailed out to me. The rooms are very nice and we loved the fireplace and hot tub (we stayed in the governor's room.) The shower was great, once we got it figured out, and I loved the bathroom. It made for a wonderful, romantic weekend.
