  Three days of relaxation at its best!

  We stayed at Julians for 3 days over the Queens Birthday long weekend. Apartment 12 was clean and fresh and we had everything we needed supplied for those 3 days. The outlook of palms and trees made it feel like a tropical paradise and we couldn't hear any road noise which made it even better. Byron Bay township was very busy so we found Julians a nice distance away from the hustle and bustle but close enough if we chose to walk. Being across from the beach was awesome and even though it's winter the temperature was 24C and we had a swim. Highly recommend Julians for your place to stay.

  Fabulous place to stay

  We spent three blissful days and nights in Apartment 3 for our 11th wedding anniversary. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable bed and gorgeous courtyard; loved the courtyard. Julians is within walking distance of town, but far enough away to avoid the crowds. If you are fit it is possible to walk to the lighthouse from here too. Sign showed 1.9km. There are stairs to the beach nearby as well. We just loved our stay and are already planning our return next year.

  Ticks all the boxes for beautiful boutique hotel

  What a little gem this place is, we found it to be just perfect for us. It is located in a nice and easy distance from the beach and shops both within very easy and comfortable walking distances. The owners are most welcoming and friendly thank you for the nice chats when we were in passing. Our one bedroom apartment was tastefully decorated, clean, well maintained, comfortable bed, great shower, had everything in there that you might need for your stay, lovely balcony to sit on to enjoy and had underground parking. I would be most happy to return here to stay again.

  Nice place to stay at

  Apart from the huge amount of rain which occured while we were there, we had a nice relaxing time at the apartments. Lovely office staff. The room was nice and well appointed, shower was good, bed comfortable and the place was close to the beach. There was a safe and lock up garages. Bring extra tea and coffee stuff. The washing maching was difficult to open after the drying cycle was completed and there were no instructions. The only other nuisance of a thing was that when it rained there is no shelter when you go out to get to your car.

  DO NOT STAY AT THIS ACCOMMODATION. WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER. BULDING MANAGER (ROSE GARRED) WILL YELL AT YOU AND THEN STOR

  This could be a much longer review. If I could give this negative stars, I would. - We booked accommodation at Julian's Apartments directly from their website - We got to the accommodation and there was a construction site next door where there were tradies doing a new build - There was no mention of the construction anywhere on the property's website nor in the arrival details text message we received - We received 2 booking confirmation emails. Only 1 mentioned the construction - in the fine print of the T&Cs. Which we received AFTER we had booked and paid for the accommodation - The building managers were a husband and wife team, Danny and Rose Garred. Danny was very practical and polite, Rose was extremely rude, immature and unprofessional - We understand they can't control the builders of another property, but they can certainly control their own behaviour and attitude - They offered us complimentary bottles of wine on 4 separate occasions as "compensation", which we readily accepted, but they never delivered them - Rose refused to take accountability for the lack of communication about the construction - blamed it on the builders, the owner of the property next door, their IT guys, us - everyone except for themselves, she YELLED at my husband and stormed off in the middle of a conversation when he asked her to stop raising her voice at him, and avoided us at all costs after that (including shutting the office blinds when we were outside, walking in the opposite direction when she spotted us and putting me on hold on the phone, then hanging up on me) - I spoke to Danny and asked for an apology from Rose for her unprofessional manner and disgusting attitude towards my husband and financial compensation in the form of at least 1 nights stay - as well as the bottle/s of wine that was promised to us and he said he would get it organised (although an apology from Rose was unlikely as she was going through some personal issues) - but still wouldn't take responsibility for the lack of communication as well as the inconvenience and noise disturbance - Initial date that the refund was meant to be processed was 24 January, but it was then pushed back to 1 February, then the 5 February, then finally the 9 February (when it was actually processed) Moral of the story - Rose was the rudest, most unprofessional, insolent, and immature person I have ever come across. Her attitude, behaviour and demeanour completely ruined our holiday and made it such an unpleasant experience. I also cannot believe that a middle aged woman working in hospitality would yell at a customer and then storm off in the middle of a conversation. I've seen little kids with better manners than that! If they had just apologised for the inconvenience from the get-go and offered us some sort of compensation (and delivered it in a timely manner), then I wouldn't have to write this review. I have not and will not be recommending this venue to any friends, family or even my worst enemies. Utterly horrendous behaviour. DO NOT STAY HERE. EVER. If I could give this negative stars, I would.
