  Excellent service

  My son had problems with a train strike and used all his phone credit finding alternative transport so could not contact anyone or receive calls. The member of staff on duty contacted us in the UK when it was time for her to go off duty for the night and when we said he was on his way waited for him well past her finish time. When he still had not arrived (nearly midnight by now) she called again and made sure we had all the details he needed to find the secure key store and his room - which we were able to text to him. He doesn't have a trip advisor account so I am writing on his behalf as we were so impressed by her kindness. The Hotel ratings are his.

  Very nice and family friendly

  I enjoyed my stay in this hotel very much! I think it's a perfect place to spend time with family and kids. Hotel is located in the outskirts of the town so you can enjoy nature and peaceful atmosphere. Brückenkopf-Park with zoo and other atractions is located just next to the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the meals - open buffet with variety of tasty foods. Rooms are cozy, apart from standard furniture they are equipped with the TV, safe box, hairdryer in the bathroom, towels, additional set of bedding. USEFUL TIPS: you can borrow bikes at the reception desk (8EU for whole day if I remember correctly), you can also ask for the free ticket to go to the Brückenkopf-Park.

  Quite cosy

  We've enjoyed the stay in JUFA. Very friendly team and good services. Wonderful place for kids, they will never want to leave. Hotel accessibility is very convenient; you can use a car or simply walk or use a bike, you will get any where inside Jülich in a few minutes. High ways to other bigger cities like Cologne or Bonn are also close or use local transportation.

  Great room and general facilities

  We stayed here for 1 night with our daughter when travelling through Germany. We had room 214, which has 2 bedrooms in it. The room was clean and modern. The bed comfortable, shower hot. Everything you need and our daughter enjoyed having her room seperate. In the main hotel there is an indoor play area with a big slide and climbing wall which our daughter had great fun playing on. Breakfast in the morning was nice too. The only negative from this trip is that we asked the receptionist to book us a taxi as we were meeting friends for dinner and asked her to confirm the price.. she spoke to the taxi firm and then told us it would be 13-14.. we asked her to confrim this and even said, so 15 would be enough.. the taxi arrived and the driver seemed to know we were english. when we arrived at our destination it was 38.60 ( one way) .. we questioned it with the driver and he said that he'd told her on the phone 30-40, so something got lost in transalation, but this was probably as German wasn't her first language.. also our friends booked us a taxi back with another firm which was much cheaper, so i wouldn't advise going with the one the hotel books again.

  Only Suitable as an overnight stop

  Very basic and small rooms. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room only 1 small bottle of water. There is an on-site cafe with basic meals. The meal I had was nice and reasonably priced. Small selection of snacks and drinks can be purchased at the bar. Kids play park next door.
