  DELIGHTFUL BED & BREAKFAST

  We were visiting friends at their country house on a Sunday afternoon and we decided to stay overnight at a B&B and make it a mini-vacation. We chose Journey Inn, which is located right across from the Vanderbilt mansion and grounds, because it was closest to attractions that are open during Covid, and we could not have made a better selection. We stayed in the Tuscany Room, which in addition to posters and photographs of Tuscan towns, also had a couple of lovely books on the subject on night tables. The walk-in shower had a strong, hot spray, and the sample bottles of LOccitane shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and body lotion were very welcome. Plenty of light allowed us to see that everything was spotlessly clean. There were plenty of tissues and towels. Breakfast was served in a light-filled room that also boasts shelves of books and comfortable chairs for sitting. Valerie, the innkeeper, served fresh fruit with yogurt, as well as a breakfast quiche and a delicious muffin. I cant recommend this place highly enough.

  Amazing stay

  My boyfriend and I visited the Journey Inn this past weekend. The inn is beautiful and our room (the Metro Room) was very comfortable. The LOccitane shower products were a great touch. The breakfast both mornings was phenomenal. It was our first time in the Hudson Valley and Valerie was a joy to talk to and extremely helpful with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. It was also a pleasure to chat with Kim at breakfast. We had a wonderful experience!

  Journey Inn a Relaxing and Comfortable Visit

  We recently stayed at the Journey Inn Bed & Breakfast. After a seven month delayed trip from March 2020. The hosts could not have been more accommodating and helpful during our stay. The room was comfortable, well appointed and as nice as advertised. The Inn is close to the Vanderbilt estate and the Franklin Roosevelt estate parks. The Inn was very quiet in the evening and the property is very nice and well taken care of. The breakfasts were perfect for the day. Understanding he difficulties with keeping the guests so erased and the increased attention to cleaning. The owners and staff could not have been better hosts. We would recommend as a great great away for couples.

  Beyond our Expectations

  I took my mother for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle and couldn't be happier with our stay @ Journey Bed and Breakfast. Valerie and Eric have succeeded in creating a very warm and inviting environment for anyone looking for a relaxing stay off the beaten path as well as a delicious breakfast that we definitely appreciated! Highly recommended, Jordan & Lynda.

  Winter Stay

  My wife and I had a lovely stay at the Journey Inn. Valerie was extremely flexible with check-in and made it supremely easy. Helpful dinner suggestions from her and Eric and a delicious breakfast that left me full throughout the day. The room (Vanderbilt) was a nice size and had everything we needed for a quick night away. Wonderful proximity to Vanderbilt Mansion and FDR Presidential library. Felt very safe given COVID procedures and sanitization.
