  One of the most beautiful places I've ever visited!

  I had a splendid time with my darling husband on our first trip to India and joie de vivre made us feel right at home with their marvellous service and great food. However, we were inconvenienced by frequent power outages, resulting in our spending most of our time in the dark. Maybe it was my imagination, but we certainly did hear some bizarre screeching sounds throughout our stay, which made it incredibly difficult to sleep. Overall we had a great experience.

  a small and beautiful place to stay at in Goa

  I along with my friends visited Goa in March 2018 and stayed at Joie de Vivre Goa for 3 nights and 4 days. It is an amazing place to stay when you have a larger group with you say about 10 to 12 of you. The service is really good and the staff is well knowledged and they know their work. They helped us get rented cars and bikes at a reasonable rate and made our stay in Goa memorable.

  Excellent Place to stay and great service- Value for money

  Joie de Vivre Goa is a boutique resort, close to the Baga beach. We were a group of 28 friends who had stayed at this place February 2-4, 2019 for a get together. It is about 1.5 hours drive from the Dabolim airport. Rooms are v well furnished and maintained. Toilets are very well equipped. Food was quite homely and good. Breakfast had limited options, but tasty and sufficient. Ambience is very good. Very close to the Baga beach - about 4-5 KMs. A few points to improve: a. morning tea is served only by 845-900 am. Nearest tea stall is a KM away and Goa shops open late. They can keep a kettle or tea maker in each room. b. Fan regulators not working in some rooms properly. Wifi works only in dining area.

  The pool had so much cholrine in it that ot faded clothes color

  It is a very pretty place it looks like a story book has opened, but the staff was very unfriendly, no wifi, the pool was said to be open til 7pm but at 4pm he came and put a full tray of cholrine in the pool and said pool could not be used til 9am. Then when kids wanted to go in the pool at 10am he is telling that the chlorine has not dissolved so cant use the pool, we said have we come to just sit you said we could use the pool from 9am, so he said its on your own risk to put kids in the chlorine water. So stupid. Dirty utensils, no housekeeping. There nice things also the location is inside so there was a sugar cane cart that would come around 12pm so that was fun and then in at 3pm ice cream cart would come by so kids enjoyed the ice cream while in the pool. We enjoyed. But lots of negative points were there. They need to straighten there staff and get wifi for sure, and they should provide house keeping we are telling that we would pay extra also for help in the kitchen washing n all they said no we dont have house keeping or anyone to help for washing utensils.
