  Jiufen family vacation

  Newly renovated family hotel. Nice & clean rooms with magnificent view of the mountian and sea. Right next to the old street too. Owner Yang makes excellent waffles and coffee. We had a restful night and excellent breakfast.

  Newly renovated inn

  We stayed at room 302 and the view is stunning with sea view and partial Mountain View. Room should have some renovation before. The toilet is especially new and clean. Though small but its clean with all the necessary rack to put stuffs. They have a small sitting area near the window which is especially awesome to relax there while looking at the nice view outside. Super near bus stop about 200m. Old street is just few walks away from the bus stop as well. Bus stop has buses to all the nearby attractions and also bus back to Taipei.

  Overpriced hotel

  Stayed for 1 night. Hotel is much over priced. Very narrow and dangerous stairs. Poor 7 11 based breakfast. Very noisy cause of buses in the road.windows do not help at all. Overall:I wouldn't recommend

  Absolutely beautiful.. would visit again!

  First of all, the owner lady is the absolute nicest. She is so sweet and accommodating and will switch to whatever language you are most comfortable with. She always answers any and every question with enthusiasm and a smile, and she feels so genuine and happy that you cant help but feel the same. As for the room itself - absolutely stunning. Very clean, beds are nice and comfy, and the sea view is absolutely priceless. Definitely worth the money. In the morning, the same owner will be there to take your drink order for breakfast. The breakfast is fairly simple, same breakfast for all the guests, but it is quite tasty and has a nice variety and local flair (soy braised egg, local fruits, egg sandwich and waffle). Coffee was great. I highly suggest coming here! And if you do make sure to have a conversation with the owner. She is so very nice :)

  Warmth n cosy stay

  Nice place, super friendly and helpful hosts. Take room 301 for the best view. Free beverage available at the dining area. When you take bus 965 from Taipei, or 788 from Keelung, alight at Jiufen old street bus stop, walk backwards about 50metres n Happyland will be on your left. To take a bus back to Taipei or Keelung, just cross the street, turn left walk downwards 30metres for the bus stop.
