nice place for accommodationThe hotel was beautiful, although, it looks like the hotel need some remodeling due aged wear and tear on the wall and the furniture.Good hotel for business trips. Not great for family though. Staff was very good

DisappointingThis hotel was advertised as a timeshare resort, but fell short of our expectations. The list of pros is very short: the office staff is friendly; housekeeping is provided daily; and both rooms have air conditioning units. Now the long list of cons: there is no reception desk - all questions have to be resolved by phone which was not always functioning; the office staff is available only during the day; there are no printed materials of any kind, such as hotel cards with Chinese name and address of the hotel, book of services/phone numbers in the apartment, transportation maps, excursion brochures or any information about the city - this was a big problem in a city where very few people speak English and printed materials are not available in general (we had to find a bookstore to purchase a current map of subway); the WiFi is extremely unreliable and slow - worked only in one room and sporadically; the restaurant is closed - instead there was a food stand in the hallway with a few items for purchase; the apartment is in need of renovation - the shower door opened only a few inches, the furniture was half broken, the balcony door didn't function at all and could not be opened or closed; the plumbing system is touch and go - the shower and toilet got clogged easily with normal use; there is mold on the bedroom ceiling and bathroom floor; the hallways are not air conditioned; finally, the location is not great - to get to the downtown one has to take subway with two changes of the lines. Bottom line: these apartments are simply not on the same level as any of the timeshare properties we visited and should not be in the exchange system.

Certainly not what we were expectingOk so we are here on a time share and this place is not a holiday resort by any stretch of the imagination. . Quite clearly the place has been sold to private residents and the hotel has been closed down, what is super funny is the TV in your room shows the hotel in its heyday when it had a reception and even someone to greet you as you arrive. This is not the case today.. Lucky for me I emailed the resort and received spot on information on how to find the place even the Chinese description to give to the taxi driver, as for finding the reception room I did well .. only knocked on one wrong door :-) .. The room is "OK" . Not 5 star but were are here to see the sights not lounge in our room. . The bed is firm and everything was clean.. We got a TV, Iron, hair dryer, Ironing board, but no DVD or Music player which was listed. My only moans are there is no where easy to get breakfast so you are full self catering for this part, the patio door was horrific and I had to fix it every time my wife went out for a smoke and the TV had no English channels at all, but as I said before where are here for the sights. The site still has a restaurant "Green Land Bar & Restaurant" which we used quite a bit, we did go for a walk and found a few others but they seemed like they catered more for the locals then the westerners. We did find a fantastic little Australian bar & restaurant about 10 to 15 min walk "Ossie" Run by an Australian from the Gold Coast and for a change some top food to take you back home. There is a small supermarket and pharmacy on the ground floor along with a spa and beauty salon. The Subway/Metro is pretty close too only a 5 min walk although we did not use it we walked passed a few times. I have to say with any of the faults you may have with the place the people here in China move heaven and earth to look after you, the representative for the "Apartments" was lovely and was contactable via WhatsApp, email or phone and even sorted out Taxis for us.

Not worth the 15 dolares you save for a real hotelOne thing good, Jenny the owner is nice. Apartment old, broke, dirty, cockroach, the shower door open to inside so its impossible to get in if you are more then 36 size. water runs out from shower, the shower door is not seal. Dirty toilet, disgusting microwaves, Tv with no sound, only local Chinese channels. Internet slow and sometimes. Balcony dirty and horrible. They put to dry the sheets from last guest in your room. Not clean table, old and ugly furniture. Walks 18 minutes to closer metro station and crossing streets between cars, taxis, motorcycles and bicycles. Not commercial area, for food around. The floor was bumps. The mattress feels like box spring, too stiff. I was thinking to save $15 daily but it was a poor decision, I should pay for a nice, comfortable, real hotel. No information about the city at all. Bad thinking to stay here. Avoid it.
