  value for stay

  jinjiang is not a big city and not for travel. business city, especially the stone, light industies business are very active. this hotel's location is not perfect, but the price is very valuable and service is very good. buffet price is cheap, you also can enjoy Karaok in the night, but the price is a little bit over the average.

  Short trip

  This was a very nice hotel as per deal! Like the room and service staff was speaking English and helpful. Would love to stay there again if get chance to go Guilin However it's a bit always from the city the cabs only take 15 rmb from anywhere to drop you to hotel the buffet bfast was also yum but I only ate one day so choose if you want that cause most tour start early morning

  Excellent and super comfortable!!!!

  Really nice and quite hotel! All you need and want very close to the city center and about 20 min to Quanzhou, another big city. Hotel is clean, comfortable, very top level!!! If you need something, please ask to Jamie, she is so gentle and helpful!!! I love this place!! thanks

  A 5-start hotel located in the middle of nowhere

  I was billeted in this hotel for 2 nights to attend to some matters in a neighboring town. The hotel has already changed its name to Jinjiang Baohui Hotel. The exterior of the hotel looks grand and you shall be greeted with an equally grand lobby upon entering. The rooms are spacious and provides all the amenities you'd expect from a 5-start hotel - room slippers, bathrobes, complete toiletries, coffee-making facilities, etc. Another nice feature of the room is that it has a separate tap in the bathroom for drinking water. The bathroom is also big with separate shower and bathtub. The bathroom has a large glass pane that looks into the room. However the blinds of bathroom are not entirely opaque and one could see inside the bathroom from the room itself. When you travel alone or as a couple, this won't be a problem. However when you have associates or strangers for a roommate, then this would cause some privacy issues. Water pressure is also good. Some gripes about the room (11th floor): The room itself kind of reeks of cigarette smoke, despite being a non-smoking room. Also, the cold air outside seems to get inside the room despite the windows being shut completely. You can feel the wind when you stand near the windows. This meant that the room is always cold. I have some companions staying in a different room and they did not have the same issues with the room. The bed, while large, is not very comfortable. I like firm beds, but the beds here are firmer that what I would like. The location of the hotel also is a bit of a problem. It is really located far off the downtown of Jinjiang City or even the downtown of Anhai Town (where the hotel is located). It is surrounded by industrial buildings and open wastelands on all fours sides. For tourism, this hotel would be definite no-no. For business purposes with prearranged transportation, then this hotel would do. Transportation to and from this hotel seem to be reliant on "unlicensed transportation operators" where fares are negotiated with the driver. Finally the hotel's service is a mixed bag. The staff here do not smile a lot (this is after all, China). The staff at the lobby will readily serve you tea once they notice you staying there longer than usual. The bellboys would readily help you with your bags. However, when the in-room safe malfunctioned and refused to open, I had to call housekeeping twice and wait more than an hour for help to arrive. Overall, I would only recommend this hotel if you are on business and your local partners have arranged transportation for you. For tourists, the hotels located in Jinjiang City, or Quanzhou City are better options.
