  Un hotel muy bien ubicado

  Se trata de un hotel ubicado en el centro de Pekin, Está muy cerca de la parada de metro de Jianguomen, lo que es muy practico para visitar la ciudad utilizando este medio de transporte. El personal es atento y hablan ingles. Además se puede cambiar dinero al tipo oficial dentro del hotel, lo que nos ahorra tener que ir al banco. Dispone de SPA. Las habitaciones son grandes y tienen de todo (caja fuerte, tv, nevera, etc). Como única pega, la poca atención que los hoteles chinos suelen prestar a los detalles; es común encontrar manchas en la moqueta o algún desconchón en las paredes, cosas que uno nunca esperaría encontrar en un hotel de 4 estrellas. Yo pagué 65/noche.

  Buena opción

  El desayuno es muy completo y te hacen huevos en tortilla frito revueltos... También nos vinieron muy bien los paraguas prestados por un depósito de 100 Yuanes. Hablan inglés en recepción aunque bastante básico, pero suficiente. Te pueden pedir un taxi desde recepción y aseguras así que ellos indican al taxista la dirección de ida (para la vuelta lleva tarjeta del hotel con la dirección) y apalabras el precio del trayecto. A la hora de hacer el check out ve con tiempo porque hasta que no comprueben la habitación no te hacen el cargo. Pide un mapa turístico en recepción, es muy bueno ! La habitación familiar tiene dos camas grandes y un baño grande. Para llegar al hotel desde la estación de trenes Beijing South coges línea 4 hasta parada XIDAN (dirección Anhequiao) y ahí pillas la roja 1 dirección Tuquiao y te bajas en JIANGUOMEN. Esta será vuestra parada de metro. tenéis que buscar la Exit C y nada más salir giras a la derecha y continuando seguido encuentras el hotel a unos 500 metros. Esta línea roja que es la que te lleva a la plaza de Tian an men y Ciudad Prohibida en dos paradas y está muy bien comunicada para ir al mercado de compras de La Perla (no os lo perdaís). (Línea 5 parada TIANTANDOGMEN), es la misma parada que El Templo del cielo. La cama es excesivamente dura y las juntas de la bañera están un poco destrozadas, pero tienes ducha y bañera. Tampoco nos gustó tener que salir del hotel e ir a un edificio anexo a disfrutar del spa y la piscina.....

  They scam your deposit money

  This hotel tries to scam customers, its takes deposit 600 yuan then when checking out -they accused us of using their travel kit which was left in the bathroom with a price tag UNOPENED, when we corrected them that we didnt use it. Then the assistant manager, charged or made up prices for dirty towels and a bit of baby food on the towel and hair dye slight stain on the pillow cover. The assistant manager doesnt speak English, they dont have any policies to indicate prices if towels are used and left dirty that we should pay for them nor do they have a price list, when asked the assistant manager who just laughes and doesnt give the full deposit back. I mean which hotel doesnt wash towels or pillow covers! We stayed there for 6nights and we had to share 2 towels between 5 of us and not once they changed our duvet or pillow covers but we didnt complain but at the end when they tried to charge for using the towels and pillows makes me realise they dont wash they duvets or towels! They dont care about customer satisfaction just about trying to get as much money from us and also no hotel staff speaks English so its very difficult to communicate a taxi request or tours. Another customers that came they took deposit money in Euros then tried to give them deposit back in less yuan. Hotel is far from all the main attractions and you have to get train or bus everywhere. Not had such an unprofessional terrible experience anywhere else Its a 3.5star hotel but will soon loose stars if this scamming continues

  Above Average Stay at Reasonable Price

  I selected this hotel due to its reasonable price and decent location. The metro is a short walk from the hotel. The biggest issue was the very week internet connection which I needed for work. Depending on where you are located, it can be better or worse. The hotel itself is an older hotel. That said, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. One feature in my room that I liked was it has a shower and a large, separate bathtub. As advertised, there is a spa connected with the hotel and I used it two times. There is no charge if you are a hotel guest. I used room service twice and they were fast and efficient. The restaurant had a good selection of food at a reasonable price.

  Will not return!

  I will make this one short.. I chose this hotel because of the price and english speaking staff. It turned out that NON of the staff spoke a word english.. That made it very difficult to communicate with them when I wanted some information or if I needed help. One evening I called for room service and they didnt understand me at all. Another day I asked where the swimmingpool was located and the receptionist didnt even know what a swimmingpool was.. It is NOT acceptable to write on your website that you have english speaking staff when they clearly DO NOT have that. The room spelled old and sour and mosquitos kept flying in the room through the air con... It was the worst stay I have ever had.
