    Good Location

The location is quite good. Walk about 5 mins can reach MRT station and ChunXi road (Shopping Area). A lot restaurant can get around the hotel. The only bad thing of this hotel is the bathroom. Over flood easily.

Not what it says on the tin.

I never wanted to leave a bad review for a hotel on here, I always look for the best in everything. However, I had booked this hotel as part of a bigger trip and it's been the most disappointing hotel we have stayed in. Firstly, I book my hotels based on location and access to WiFi. The location of this hotel is good, nice distance to the Metro/Subway. Plenty of shopping malls in the area, as well as local restaurants. The WiFi, is advertised as 'Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel and is available everywhere." Once we checked in, (very friendly, although mostly non-English speaking, staff) we were taken to our room, to our surprise, across the road. Once in the room we noticed that it doesn't really look a lot like the pictures on the internet, but that's to be expected, although the floor looked like it was sinking into the room below. Then we tried the WiFi, the signal was strong but after translating the sign in page it became apparent that in order to access the advertised "free WiFi" we would need to pay. (Hang on, how does that work?) We desperately needed the internet in order to plan our excursions, so we returned to reception to explain that we didn't have access to the WiFi. After using google translate, the once friendly receptionist responded (via her own translation app) that I can use the cable provided to use the wired internet instead. I explained we don't have a laptop and that we are using wireless device and she told me that I can pay extra for a room in the main building to access the WiFi there. I was thoroughly disappointed that they were trying to charge me extra to access a free service. We booked this hotel three months in advance, yet feel like we just showed up on the day and were put into their least desirable room. It seems a real shame that if we were given a room in the main hotel rather than across the road that this will have been a different story. All in all, very poor WiFi (in half of the hotel) friendly check-in staff (until you want something that doesn't involve handing over RMB), disappointing room, Hardest beds we've had in China, barely slept and a good location.
