  Perfect family holiday

  Returned home yesterday from a fantastic holiday at the Jeravi Beach. Quite honestly I could not fault it at all. (Other than hearing Fifth Harmony every 15 minutes to which even my 5 year old lad started saying "Oh no, not this again!"). We did rent a towel which went missing from our sunbed whilst we were at lunch, we lost our deposit, we should have been more careful I guess. The hotel caters for Czech & Polish guests mainly, though this review is in English as I am an Englishman living in Czech. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, nothing is a problem for the staff, always smiling, happy to help, from Silvija who welcomed us, through to Evelin, Chris & Andrej on bar & Tedi in the restauarant, the operations manager is always walking around checking things are as they should be, he has no need to worry, his staff are all stars! The rooms are modern, comfortable & with air conditioning, very welcoming. If you can, get a poolside room, the other side of the hotel faces onto the main strip so whilst there is noise from there, I can imagine that it is greater on the other side. THe rooms are perfectly clean, regualarly maintained, and there is the all-important safe included! Ours was 107. Food in the restaurant is varied and well presented, though with young children there only seems to be pancakes in their view at breakfast - kids loved them! We were all very happy with the whole food experience. As we travelled with young children (8 & 5) it is important that they are catered for in both food & entertainment, Jeravi has this covered brilliantly, especially with a fantastic team of Animators who took time to get to know our children. They are an absolute credit to the hotel. (Animation is in Czech & Polish), & they don't just entertain the children but the adults too. They work long hours, and deserve every bit of praise they get, thank you. This is an oasis of tranquility for families amongst the madness of the main strip so whilst there is some noise from our neighbouring buildings, do not let this discourage you. Jeravi Beach (& it is right on the beach) is a nice place run by nice people, and that attracts nice guests. Only one problem, one week is not long enough, we should have booked two, we will do in 2019! Can't wait to return. ~ Thank you! Littlovi (King Julian!!!)

  Best holidays in Bulgaria

  We spent several holidays in Bulgaria, but these holidays were definitely the best! We are a young couple and we were totally satisfied with the hotel :-) The hotel was in the center of Sunny Beach. Even though our room had windows above the street, the noise was not exaggerated. The hotel was modernly furnished, everything was clean. Our room (201 - double bed without balcony) was very nice, cleaning was done every day. All the personnel was great, nice and helpful. Most of the employees spoke English, or they can speak Czech also. Visitors of the hotel were mostly Czech and Polish tourists. There were very many families with children, but it was not annoying. At the pool area there were free sun loungers, on the beach for a fee of 10 Leva per person (the beach does not belong to the hotel). The food was very tasty and varied. If we ever return to Bulgaria, Jeravi Hotel will be a clear choice!

  Nice, enjoyable stay

  The hotel has a nice, large and not so crowded swimming pool, the beach is very close, sandy, shallow, the service staff is very kind. The food is tasty and to some extent diverse (however the hotel size doesn't seem to justify larger and more diverse cuisine). It's also quite quiet. To get 5* I would appreciate cleaning rooms and towel change more frequent than 1 per week and upon request, cleaning deck chairs and swimming pool deck more often. The deck chairs get fully packed by 8am despite the claim that the towels left unattended are collected after 30 mins till 9 am (happened once during a week stay). Still enjoyable stay and a recommended one. However, the enitre area (beaches, streets) is very crowded so you need to take this into account selecting this destination.

  Good stay, but improvement is desirable.

  Not a crowded place. Rooms are big and comfortable, the bathroom drains required improvement, because anytime we had shower less than 5 minutes later the water was reaching out to the room, so we had to be really quick and waiting and cleaning so the next person can have a shower. Food fairly good not much of a choice, the day when head chef was there quality of the food was really good. Staff were wonderful very helpful and pleasant, hard working. Was a pleasant stay on the whole.

  Overall OK but with some improvements needed

  Stayed at the end of August 2018/beginning of September. Main advantages - not crowded, no queues to get drink at the bar, you could find sunbed after 10am at the pool. Big room, aircon was fine, bathroom was nice. Very close to the beach (on beach you pay extra 30lev for umbrella and 2 sunbeds). Beach is lovely and we spent majority of time there with nice sand and quite clean. It was 3 minute walk to get drinks from hotel`s pool bar. We have not seen any jellyfish but on last day sea was full of algaes. Nice Animation program - not too intrusive, everyone very smiling and opened. Kids loved spending time in Kids Club. Animation in Czech and Polish as guest are mainly from those countries. At time of booking we had no option to choose pool view and being already onsite it was not possible to change- at the end we were only sleeping there so not much a difference. So, so - could be better - food - breakfasts were the worst - not a lot to choose from. Lunch and diner was much better with good selection and good taste. Icecream for kids were included. Disadvantages - poor room cleaning - we had sand on terrace and carpet for a whole stay, poor table cleaning in restaurants - staff was standing and talking to each other while there were tables with leftovers and dirty tablecloth and people looking for spare table at the same time. All in all good stay with some fallbacks to cleanless but in general mainly to its location it can be recommended. Trip was organized by Netholiday - not much to say as we had no interaction with them - transfers were OK and on time).
