  Decent Stay

  One night stay while on tour package. The hotel is a walking distance to Tapdong street market - about 15-20 mins walk. Not to mention, if you need to grab anything from a a convenience store. 7-11 is just across the road, located right. The room is not equipped with water dispenser. Water dispenser is located out of the room for all use.The dining place is located at the basement of the hotel. The hotel corridor is fully carpeted and so is the room. It looks dated. Other than having aircond on and off, average stay. Staffs hardly speak English.

  Skimpy Amenities and Out of the Way.

  Jejus Pacific Tourist Hotel has giant rooms that could comfortably sleep four, and initially felt very luxurious. But where other hotels might offer chargers for cell phones and iPods, the Pacific Hotel had spackled over their free outlets, making it so that you have to unplug various lights in the room to charge electronics. Worse, the Pacific banned all outside food on their premises, so I had to sneak groceries into my room and eat any smuggled food over the sink in the bathroom (the cleaners were fairly meticulous). Its also a little out of the way, in terms of the central parts of Jeju City. On my Lonely Planet map, the hotel looked to be within easy walking distance, but to get into the central areas of town that have decent eateries its about a mile-long walk. This doesnt seem overly far if youre in decent shape, but Ill say that after hiking up Mt. Hallasan, walking a mile each way for dinner is probably the last thing you want to do. Finally, the hotel caters to large groups of tourists who might think that its a great idea to shout down the hall to each other at 6:20AM every morning and for the next hour afterwards. I realize this last issue isnt the hotels fault, but the doors do very little to insulate noise, so if you like sleeping in this might not be the best hotel for you.

  Pretty comfortable

  The rooms is quite good with spacious enough, friendly staff but not in city center. You have to take a taxi if you wanna go out for relax in night, can't not walking because it keep a distance. Area surround the hotel was so boring and it just had a one 7-11 convenient shop in opposite across the street.

  Inconsiderate and no sympathy hotel staff

  Went to the hotel staff to ask for information. Hotel staff asked us to wait outside of the lobby where it was drizzling and freezing outside. No customer service. Another rude encounter in Korea. Not recommended hotel

  Cheated by the hotel in paying for our breakfast

  We checked in late on 23rd Oct 2017 and were tired. We booked through Hotel.com and breakfast were included. However, upon checking in at the hotel late evening, we were told by the hotel staff that due to the cheap rate given, they are not able to include the breakfast for the 5 rooms even though I showed them the printed email from Hotel.com. As it was already late and we were all tired, we asked for a discounted rate to include the breakfast and was charged @9000won x 2 pax x 5 rooms x 2. We paid 360,000won instead of only 180,000won. A day later, when we enquired at the front desk, the staff on duty said they do not know anything about it and we were at a lost as no receipt were issued for the payment made in cash the night before. Has informed Hotel.com about this issue and there was no reply till now which is more than a week already. I will advise others not to use Hotel.com for future bookings and also to avoid staying at Jeju Pacific Hotel at all times since they are not honest to their hotel guests.
