Great place to stayJeju Bom is in a rural area thats accessible only by car. Its near a few well-known Falls and the Ollie market. The room is very comfortable (we were given free upgrade) and breakfast provided were changed slightly daily so it will not get boring. The views from our room are beautiful and really brightened our day to face such scenery at the start of each day. Theres also a mini art museum - definitely worth visiting - and many life-like sculptures at the surrounding. We will definitely stay at Jeju Bom again when we next visit Jeju.

Amazing hotel and exceptional serviceVisited Jeju island for the first time with the family this summer. We were late arriving cause didnt realize we required international driving licence to rent a car!! Had to scramble to find a taxi to drive us at night and it was raining!! The lady in charge, sorry I forgot her name, stayed around till we came AND went out of her way to get dinner delivered to the room. The best fried chicken we had in Korea! Very grateful to her cause we were tired and the kids were hungry. She also arranged a taxi driver for the next day and made sure he spoke English. Service was second to none. The hotel is set up on a hill amongst tangerine orchards. Very modern and unusual with lots of statues scattered around the grounds. The suite was beautiful and very clean with an amazing view of the ocean. We got the two floor suite with ample room for 5 adults and large shower and washroom. An excellent stay, couldnt be happier. The whole family had an excellent time. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

A nice stay with great atmosphereJeju Bom Stay was quirky, cute, and comfy. Each room is named for a different artist, and our room was just really nice to look at -- well-designed! We also had a small balcony where we could sit out, enjoying the sea air and listening to birds. The bed was quite comfortable, and all fixtures in the bathroom worked well. (Opening the big bathroom door made me feel like some kinda important person!) My favorite part of this hotel was relaxing out on the deck at sunset, sipping wine from the hotel cafe. The "staff dog" hung out with us, although he was too skittish to be petted. (Still, he was good company!) The view was just soooo good, with no traffic noises or anything to do any damage to our mood. It was also nice to look around at all the sculptures on the deck, in the lobby, and on the grounds. The next day was unfortunately rainy, so we hung out in the cafe in the morning, and a staff member (maybe the owner? sorry, I did not catch her name ...) spent time talking with us and even gave us a loaf of fresh, hot bread with butter on the house. Service was generally just really great and attentive. I'm sad that I didn't get a chance to visit the museum that the hotel is a part of, but clearly that just means I'll need to go back someday. I recommend Jeju Bom Stay to people who want a little peace and quiet, and a place that really put a lot of thought into cool, artsy design.

Peaceful beautiful setting, off the beaten trackWe flew into Jeju and got the last bus south, a two hour drive, late at night and with a typhoon approaching. We were let off at KAL Hotel (last stop) where a very kind gentleman called Jeju Bom for us. The manager, Rosario, drove over and picked us up and then showed us to our upgraded room. It was after midnight! We spent the next day watching the rains lash the sea and enjoyed the comfort of the room and the excellent breakfast and simple but delicious sandwiches available for later. The following day we hiked on Trail #6 on the Olle Trail, a lovely coastal route in view from our hillside accommodation. Rosario arranged a taxi for us the next day and we visited the Global Geo Park (Jusangjeolli Cliffs), Hallasan volcano (we did the shortest hike) and the not to be missed Haenyeo women divers who work in the cove in the shadow of Seongsan Ilchulbong. On our third and last day Rosario drove us to the bus stop where we got the bus to the airport. She was most kind and hospitable. The hotel is owned by a well known South Korean artist, Park Choong Eun. We were there only 3 days, one subsumed by the typhoon, but it was enough to know we will be back!

Wonderful stay with serenityJeju Bom has very beautifully designed rooms, and of course friendly owner & staff. It is a 2-storey building, Ground floor is a beautiful cafe/restaurant, and most rooms are on 2nd floor. There is no lift, you have to carry your luggage upstairs, the staff/owner is very kind to offer her help even though we didn't request for it :) Our room is huge, it comes with 2 beds, a balcony, a dressing room, separate shower and toilet (with electronic bidet toilet seat) , and a bathtub next to beds. Water pressure and heater for the shower works well, there's a lot of TV channels to choose too. Bed is clean and comfortable, and the best part is you'll wake up with a beautiful seaview. Overall it's a very pleasant stay, definitely recommending Jeju Bom if you're spending nights in Seogwipo! Pros: 1. Beautiful & comfortable room with great view 2. Free Jeju Bom musuem tour 3. Free parking available 4. Quiet surrounding, suitable for those who prefer a relaxing and laid back stay 5. Staff are friendly and able to communicate in simple English Cons: 1. It may be challenging to locate this hotel unless you are driving with GPS. It is quite rural and up-hill, and the way to hotel has no street lights at night (we almost lost our way when we first visited too!)
