Good positionWe stayed here for seven nights . Room very big it was for five people so plenty of room for the two of us . Nice big bed and clean sheets and towels . Kitchen with all we needed to do small snacks we asked for a iron and they gave us one for the time we were there . It only had a small balcony. In the side street but we were right by the pool so we could use the poolside to sit by and it was not busy when we were there .The pool was small but clean . We were taken to the port on our departure .

Good location, basic rooms, some noise issuesWe had a double room in the apartments building. It was one house further away from the reception and opposite side of the Kinidarou street. First floor room with one balcony looking to the Kinidarou street and another, smaller balcony in the inner courtyard! Location was good, in a sense that it's close to the city center and first beaches. A supermarket can be found on both ends of the Kinidaru street. The bad is that a lot of traffic goes by day and night at least during the height of the season... Tourists are wandering there with their scooters and whatnot, and also locals are busy driving around any time of the day. I have to say, the locals caused even more noise than the tourists. For example, some guy next door loved to start his his big motorbike with a VERY loud roam several times a night. So, be a GOOD sleeper or carry ear plugs... or get very drunk and pass out every night (which I don't recommend, btw!! :) The traffic must also be the reason why the balcony furniture had to be cleaned daily from the dust and dirt. The room was very basic in decoration. We thought that booking a double room would automatically get some extra quality but no, this was as basic as it gets. It would have been ok, but most of the equipment in the room was very worn or even broken. The fridge handle was broken off almost completely. The other door of the big wardrobe was hanging with one hinge only. The toilet made a long&loud honking sound after flushing. I'm sure the whole building knew when it was used... The balcony chairs and table were basic white plastic stuff, not the nice wooden and/or metal furniture as in some other balconies in the same hotel! The air conditioner's "fan unit" was installed INSIDE the balcony which is simply stupid. Now it blows hot air towards you and back to the room, if the door is open (there is no sensor to switch the air conditioner off if the door is open). So, all this made us choose the second, smaller balcony to read and relax after late dinner. The small is kitchen is adequate but there is no coffee maker or anything. The lady in the reception was kind to give us a water boiler when we asked. Big thanks for that but could something like that be included to the rooms by default? The fridge didn't get very cool even at max power, the beer simply did not reach the recommended coldness level :( The water taps in the toilet were almost stuck, there was nothing on the wall (anymore) to lock the shower on. For such a large room the toilet is very small, you barely get in and you literally side-hug the sink while sitting in there. The free WI-FI was great but only close to the reception and pool area. In our building it was unreachable inside the room and in the balcony it was just barely working but breaking off often. The pool is very nice and clean, recently built, I think. It's small but enough for a quick dip after a long and hot adventure in the city. The metal pipes sprouting water with huge pressure to your neck won't operate during siesta. They also get tired due to heat? :) There are actually three but only one works. The safe is free, which is great. It resides in the reception and you need staff help to get to it. The air conditioning is free. But like said, the fan unit is there to ruin your balcony experience if you keep it on at the same time... Cleaning was excellent. The floor was clean, towels changed etc. all taken care of very well. So in summary, at least our double room needs a lot of basic maintenance. Don't expect anything fancy unless you book a renovated room. And to avoid worst of the noise, ask not be located on lower floor alongside Kinidarou street during peak of the season. For best WIFI, go close to reception and pool.

An awful experience! An awful experience! We booked in this hotel more than a month before our departure and when we actually arrived late in the evening we discovered that the room in the hotel was not available. The owner did not bother to advise us in advance and just conducted us to another hotel of his property. An old, small, hot lacking of any commodity room where even the bathroom door did not close because it was literally falling apart. We then called the receptionist and we we told to call back in 5 min and the issue will be solved. Instead, when I called back the answer was "we have no room available in the hotel you booked, this is it we have no other solution". I told I was going downstairs, but when I arrived the lady just closed the reception and escaped at home! So we called another number just to find a lady yelling at us that we were supposed to understand they had no availability of the room we booked and we were free to get away(it was late at night by the time). Then we went to the police, but this did not help either. We therefore found another nice hotel in the surroundings and went away. I called back to advise we were leaving, but the lady just spent the phone when it ringed. Probably she recognized the number. A totally negative experience!! We would not suggest it to anybody in vacancies!

12 nights at Jason StudiosWe stayed 12 nights at Jason Studios. We had a very nice twin room with balcony in the shade during late afternoon and evening. Hotel was for Naxos very nice and the staff very friendly and the owner are Swedish speaking which was a plus for us. Down side small pool which we never used due to lovely St George beach and the breakfast could had rooms for improvements. Overall would gladly book and stay at this hotel again.

Run!!!I should have known for the price, it was going to be a problem. Nonetheless, I booked the room to get a feel for the island, thank God I did not book more than one night. Not only does the wifi not work, there's a ton of noise from scooters, kids playing in the street, babies crying, tv's blasting. A total nightmare. The pool is a joke, and the heat in our room did not work. Had to change rooms, next room was a ridiculous spiral staircase climb to get to the bed, God help you if you have to use the bathroom at night. Don't waste your money, find another place.
