Charming Inn in a great locationWe were originally booked at the Indigo Inn and were pleased to have been upgraded to a room in the carriage house. The Jasmine House is an 1843 Greek Revival home turned into an Inn. The owners do not live there so its not a typical B&B which we didnt mind. There was a delicious, self-serve breakfast laid out each morning with a different hot entree each day , along with fruit, bagels, cereal, pastries. We enjoyed eating it on the wide front porch or in the courtyard in the back. Our room was quite large and had a balcony overlooking the courtyard. The decor was cozy but to some, it could be considered outdated and in need of a freshening up. To me, it was in character with an old home and I like the antique furniture and wallpaper. It was clean but it was time for a good fall cleaning behind furniture, etc. The staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful and overall, we had a great week staying at The Jasmine House Inn. Oh, and the location is perfect for walking around Charleston.

Great B&BThis beautiful historic mansion is located in the heart of the downtown market area. Room was large and furnished beautifully. Although COVID conditions affected the breakfast meal, we always had a continental bag waiting for us each morning. Staff was great and provided help in making dinner reservations. The location. Is perfect for enjoying the historic district.

Beautiful HomeMy wife and I got off our cruise ship at 8am and went straight to the indigo inn. Our room of course was not ready (was not expecting it to be) but the excellent staff said they had a room available in the Jasmine house. We were fine with that and so glad we got this switch. The room was huge and so nice. Bathroom was large and clean. My wife's favorite part was the huge deck she could sit on and read. The breakfast was also good. We would definitely stay here again.

Dont book at the momentThis house is beautiful. But due to COVID theres no one working on site. Im frustrated we were not told that important detail. I would have booked elsewhere. You have to check in at the Inn down the street and go there to get food and anything you need. This is basically a high end, overpriced hostel right now. We were in Savannah before here and our Inn had a wonderful Innkeeper that cooked delicious fresh breakfast, wonderful cookies and coffee, and had gloves and sanitizers everywhere. This probably disappointed more after that. Theres no hand sanitizer in site on any counter. You kind of feel abandoned. I recommend finding a better alternative during this time because this place shouldnt charge full price when theyre offering half a service.
