  Luxury stay

  What a difference. The lodge has been completely transformed by Mark and Carol. I can not recommend Jamila enough. The staff go out of their way to look after you. The food is absolutely delicious. The game drives never failed to please us. We spent two of our night on the outdoor star bed, (in honeymoon suite) which was a sensory delight, and soul food for the mind and body. Listening to the sounds of the night and watching the stars. During the day after the morning drive and breakfast, we sat at the pool overlooking the waterhole having back neck and foot massages. Before the afternoon game drive to watch the sunset. Thank you Jamila. What a wonderful break!

  Awesome weekend at Jamila

  Me and my wife visited Jamila over the weekend and had a great time.Everything about Jamila is outstanding.The food and service is awesome. The waterhole in front of the deck is very special with all kind of animals visiting there through out the day. I highly recommend Jamila Game Lodge!

  A fantastic weekend

  Thank you Jamila for a truly unforgettable experience. The staff were exceptional as well as the facilities. Breath taking views and sightings, I cant wait to return and would highly recommend a visit.

  Wonderful and relaxing stay

  What a wonderful 2 nights at Jamila Lodge - the setting, scenery, staff, service and game-viewing were all top-notch! We had sent in dietary requirements prior to our arrival, and were greeted by a delicious vegetarian lunch as requested. The chef then came out to us to discuss our dietary requirements in person, and make sure that he accommodated our needs during our stay. The food was so tasty and beautifully presented at all meals, and the staff were friendly and helpful, and did everything they could to make us comfortable, while at the same time ensuring that they were never too present. We saw so much game on each drive, and Justinus was a font of information - making each sighting so much more special as we learnt about the habits and facts of each animal. He was never in a rush to get back to the lodge, giving us enough time at each sighting, and making sure that we got to see whatever we could during each drive. The one small thing that could be changed is that the water in the room is not drinkable due to it being sourced from a septic tank), but they charge you for the water in the fridge in the room.I think that the water should be free, or that at least 1 bottle per person per day is provided. Water is provided at all meals, but should also be provided in the room.

  Bush trip

  Excellent. We could not have even imagined how great the trip was. A first trip to Africa for 1 of the party, who was blown away as to the service, sites, attention to detail and friendliness of the staff.The tour guide was unbelievably good and knowledgable. It was a real winner
