Decent location - close to the aid/development worker 'scene'This hotel is quite close to the center of the Gazinatep aid/development worker 'scene' so it will make meetings/socializing much easier if you are there for that purpose. Otherwise its located a short walk to the old town (10 to 15 minutes) and close to a number of restaurants, bars, shopping centers and parks. The elevator was the slowest I have ever encountered I think in a hotel so you will be better off taking the stairs. Your hips, thighs and buttocks will thank you for it anyway. The breakfast was more on the middle eastern side of things than I would have liked. Olives, birthday cake, soup and cheese coupled with fruit, boiled eggs, toast, tomatoes and cucumbers give you a general idea of the selection. Its tolerable for a few days but if you are there for an extended period you will be happy to know there are cafes nearby serving more western style dishes. Finally if you are there during Ramadan be warned there is a ritual drum beating parade at 2 am every morning that comes past the hotel. Short answer is you will not be getting a good night sleep, if you are not a Muslim (and I suppose even if you are), if you stay in this hotel during Ramadan. That might be the case for other locations also but it was particularly so at this hotel it seemed. Perhaps the greatest positive was the free, high speed, reliable internet.

Nice & calmNice place to stay in a good location in town. Prices are not too expensive and the area is calm (although it's true that this drum beating in the middle of the night during the Ramadan is a bit annoying but it's part of local culture). Personnel is very nice and smiling, food is decent but not the best but if you want you can order some nice kebap for delivery. I'm not too much a breakfast person, but there are lots of choices and it looks really good.

ConvenientConvenient location, good wifi, friendly staff. Food is not great so eat out if you can. Coffee generally is terrible in Turkey so bring your own if you can. This place is good for a budget option (a lot of INGO workers stay here so it's good for work trips and meeting others in the same line of work if that's what you do). Unfortunately there were no English TV channels which was annoying. Breakfast was decent (other than the lack of good coffee) and the waiter was always friendly, offering to bring you and omelette if you wish. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable, although the pillow on the bed was so hard!

MrA small hidden gem at the heart of Gaziantep in a very quiet and secure area. Hotels rooms are comfortable, some maintenance needed for some items. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a nice variety. Pocket friendly choice and all what you can expect from it ! Only missing part : having a small gym and proving tissues for the rooms !
