  Small but nice

  We stayed here the week before Christmas. It is a small but nice complex. The units are well stocked and clean. The complex is basic without any laundry or elevators.It was good enough for us to stay a week in without any issues. The office does have very limited hours which could be somewhat a problem if you needed something, The heater did work but would only set a certain temp for like 4 hours. I think we were eventually able to overide that setting however. I would stay here again.

  Winter vacation in Jackson Hole WY

  Would not recommend this property for point conversions under a RCI exchange program. The rooms were okay but outdated. Mold in the shower. Beds uncomfortable and sofa bed broken down and unusable. Not what we expected upon checkin. My reservation was for the 23rd to 31 December. The desk clerk called me on the 23rd and asked if we were still checking out on the 26th which I informed him That we would be arriving in 30 minutes or so

  Great base in Downtown Jackson.

  For me this was/is a 5 star experience, but it woukd be a stretch to call this motel conversion a resort and I dont want to lead anyone astray. But hey it is in Downtown Jackson 2 or 3 blocks from anything you might need. We were there to ski so the non-resort was fine by us. Commute and parking at Jackson Hole Ski area was manageable and better than expected, although bear in mind this was late Jan. Public bus options are available with a bus stop adjacent to the Pines. BTW the "pines' are less visible from the street than expected and we almost drove by. I have been watching/hoping for availability in this property for years and finally it worked out. Larger, cleaner, and better equipped than anticipated.

  Lack of heat in the bedrooms

  Although we enjoyed our stay in Jackson Hole, the facility at Jackson Pines needs to have a heating source for the bedrooms. The only heating source is in the main room of the house, and they were on timers which we could not overide. We had to leave the bedroom doors open while sleeping to stay somewhat comfortable. On the first morning we did not have any hot water, however, the problem was rectified the second day.

  Very Nice

  We stayed here 4 nights. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Windows that will open, which was nice. There is a good size kitchen with everything you need. The heat and air is for the main rooms only. There is none in the bedrooms so beware if your staying in cold or summer months. It was ok for us as we were there during nice weather. The beds are not very comfy but hey thats sort of a norm when vacationing. All in all it was a great place for us and we would stay here again.
