  Incredible Resort!

  Vinimos sin tener reserva, queríamos estar tres noches pero por ser fechas en las que comenzaba un festival de música sólo podían darnos dos noches, al final, el dueño nos movió la tercera noche a otra de sus bonitas suites y nos pudimos quedar los tres días, una suerte! Se portaron estupendamente con nosotros, tanto las chicas del servicio que eran muy educadas y sonrientes cómo los dueños, la mujer es un verdadero encanto, muy atenta a lo que necesitásemos y el dueño igualmente de agradable y servicial. Hemos estado muy a gusto, las habitaciones muy cómodas y espaciosas y las instalaciones con la piscina y los jardines preciosos! Han sido unos días de plena desconexión! 100% recomendable, trato exquisito!!! Muchas gracias por todo! Spanish .

  Excelente alojamiento y atención

  Fuimos 6 amigos a pasar tres días y el jacks resort estuvo genial. Llegamos a la mañana cuando la entrada la pusimos a la tarde pero cambios en el viaje nos obligaron a ir antes y no hubo ningún problema para entrar. Jack el dueño nos recibió y todo fue atenciones, desayunamos sin problema y desde el resort nos gestionaron para alquilar tres motos para los tres días, fue un acierto para movernos por las playas. El resort está muy bien, todo limpio y cuidado y es bastante tranquilo, las habitaciones son muy cómodas y con AC y un buen baño. El desayuno está bien con leche, cereales, tortilla, salchichas, zumos, fruta y café. Para la salida teníamos el vuelo a la noche y no hubo ningún problema en dejarnos una habitación para los 6 para dejar las cosas y ducharnos al irnos y disfrutar del último día, todo ello sin coste alguno extra. Muy recomendable para alojarse.

  Excellent Stay!

  I had a brilliant stay and I really love this hotel, great staff service, very friendly and extremely helpful. It was very clean, in a good location, served a great breakfast and the atmosphere in the swimming pool area was the best. Jack the owner of the resort treated us like if we were part of his family. I am extremely thankful everything. Would definitely recommend this place and would certainly stay here again very soon!

  A nice stay in Vagator

  I, along with couple of friends, stayed at Jack's during second week of Jan. The resort is conveniently located in Vagator and is within short distance to the beach and Chapora fort. Jacks resort does not have its own kitchen so food can be ordered from elsewhere and had in the resort. Breakfast is decent but options are limited. There are lot of eateries nearby. Stay is very comfortable and the pool bang in middle is very refreshing after a day long tour of nearby places. Nothing to write in negative except the scooter rental tie-up that Jacks resort have needs to be improved since we had requested for 2 scooters but the guy who turned up with the scooter was cranky and said he has only one scooter at the moment. We did not opt for it and rather picked up our scooters from a nearby supermarket and the scooters were brand new and in good condition.

  Lovely resort - few issues

  As this review should be about the resort I'll keep the area comments to a minimum. The area is a little tired and feels as though it's not been given any love for a while. I suspect they're not as frequented with visitors as once were and that will largely be as there isn't a lot to do, and the beach is lined with bars pounding weird 90s rave music to an older, frazzled looking crowd! Back to Jack's Resort. We LOVED the resort - quiet, beautifully manicured gardens, lovely staff and spotlessly clean. We had 4 days of lazing by the pool in the gorgeous gardens. If you're happy enjoying the sun and the sound of birds this is the place to do it if you need to be in the area. The service staff are some of the hardest working we have encountered and despite speaking no English - did everything they could to ensure we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. They don't stop - everything is groomed to the highest standard. The room is clean and functional. The beds are hard yes but that was no issue for us at all - and soft toppers are available for anyone it affects. Breakfast is average - the coffee is exceptional! The range is very small (toast, cereal, a couple of cooked items), which is no issue but its laid out in the sun and not properly covered meaning flies had access to all food and it was cold. During our stay I only saw guests eating toast as a result. If recommend the team simply offer one hot dish a day and cook to order for anyone who wants it - and do not leave chocolate cake sitting in the sun uncovered! For us we only met Jack v briefly - he was a friendly chap but not resort based. We asked for some help and were referred to his son. On arrival there was nobody there to meet us but security - so we were left to find out own way about. All fine but felt weird especially as it was 4pm. Jack's son was not forthcoming with advice or a smile. We felt anything we asked him was an inconvenience - and he offered little advice. A couple of examples - we asked for a taxi as there are none on the streets here. He told us how much they wanted and said this was the price, we trusted he was getting us a fair deal. After he hung up the phone he said we were paying too much! Useful. The same happened the next day and we paid a lot more than should have for the service. - we asked if there was a laundry service. He said yes. When we took our laundry he suggested we took it somewhere else?! He then said other guests had and we should go ask them where to go. We said we knew he was overpriced but for convenience we wanted to leave it with him and save a walk in the heat. He looked annoyed. I then asked when it would be back and was assured by the following morning - the next day I found out he didnt send it til later in day which is why it wasn't ready as promised. He offered no apology. Pros Beautiful resort Lovely gardens Spotlessly clean Wonderful service staff Cons Breakfast Jack's son attitude and lack of customer care Nobody on reception to offer advice or ensure you can get a fair priced taxi
