  Heaven on Earth

  Jackies was recommended by my friend who owns a local hotel. When we arrived we were immediately transfixed by the scenery and ambiance of the place. I had the most AMAZING massage and the customer service was too notch. We had a great conversation with Jackie before we left and we truly felt so relaxed and nurtured. It turns out that I left my mosquito fan there and Jackie was kind enough to drop it off at my hotel, imagine my surprise when they told me!! Jackies on the Reef will definitely become a staple whenever Im in Negril.

  Where in Negril to have the BEST Spa Day EVER!

  Allow me to introduce you to a little piece of transcendent serenity I found while vacationing last month in Jamaica. You can get to this place by following a series of narrow, winding roads through Negril that ultimately brings you to the gate you see in the first picture. This is the starting point for the BEST Spa day EVER in Negril! Get ready because Im here to show and tell you about whats on the other side of that gate. Its nothing less than a mystical, magical place full of crystals, flora, fauna, peace, serenity and a breath-taking view of the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Its Jackies on the Reef. If you haven't heard of Jackie's On the Reef, sit a spell so I can tell you about this fabulous spa! I'll give you a glimpse into the sensory indulging experiences I had at Jackies. I say glimpse because words and images cant do it justice. You really have to experience it. Nonetheless, Ill do my best. Since I was looking for as many spirit-renewing and recharging services I could find, I spent two days getting treatments. This review is about my first day of services. Spoiler alert, they were all absolutely amazing! When I finished changing into my robe, I clearly still had my typical fast paced energy because Ms. Jackie promptly slowed me down. I wasnt rushed into any services. Instead, it was quite the opposite. Ms. Jackie encouraged me to lie down on one of the beds and relax a minute before I headed off to my services. While the bed looked and was comfy, I ultimately opted for the view of the water from a comfy chair as you see in the picture. For my first service, I had Jackie's Signature Scrub. The service is performed close to the water in a massage hut. The description is pretty accurate, down to the humming! Not only was the green clay facial relaxing; the aloe reflexology treatment was divine! After you receive both of those treatments, you get to go to the Saltwater Pool for a refreshing soak as you relax and take in the sounds of the crashing waves against the rocks and the pool. I have to admit the experience in the pool is just that. An experience. First, youre completely naked. Yep, thats right. You take your robe off and its just you, the pool and the waves. Occasionally the waves splash into the pool to make for such a unique experience. Its kind of hard to describe but definitely a relaxing, one with nature, kind of vibe. As you settle in and get used to the water, you can begin to feel the stress melt away as you take in more and more of the natural beauty in which youre sitting and surrounded. After about a 15-minute dip in the pool, my massage therapist brought me back to the hut where she began to gently massage off the face mask and did a series of other facial things as I drifted off to a light sleep as the waves serenaded me. I was awakened by the gentle touches of what felt like leaves brushing against my body. They were, in fact, leaves and herbs bundled together used almost like a dry brush but much more gentle. There were a series of washes and rinses that lulled me back into a peaceful sleep until the service was complete and I was wrapped in a towel trying to regain my senses as I prepared for the next service, a Bamboo Massage. I chose the Bamboo Massage since I never heard of one before. It was very similar to a hot stone massage. Very relaxing, save for the occasional too hot piece of bamboo. After my first two services, I had a delicious lunch of fresh fish tacos. The soursop smoothie was a health concoction of creamy goodness. After Ms. Jackie explained the health benefits, I immediately put it on my garden shopping list. After lunch, I finished my services with a mani-pedi. The pedicure was called the Crystal pedicure. You put your feet in this thick gelled mixture that reminded me of a bath product I tried recently. It was great for a pedicure but not for a bath! As you can see from the pictures, both services were so relaxing, combined with the view; it resulted in me tapping out completely. A day at Jackie's with the holistic pampering, surrounded by such breathtaking scenery and beauty; was just the type of nurturing my spirit needed.

  Jackies on the Reef is a must!

  Visitng Jackies was quiet tranquil just simply seeing the location and the views. My massage was incredible on the cliffs of the beach and the food was divine. It is the place to heal, relax, and the sound bath was just incredible. Please support this place and Jackie has amazing stories to tell.

  Loved Jackies on the Reef!!!

  I had a blast at Jackies on the Reef. I went to Jamaica for a women's retreat and attending Jackies was the perfect addition to the experience. I enjoyed the massage by the ocean and the sound healing/meditation she offered. Not to mention the fresh food - I ordered the fish taco and it was so good! I would highly recommend Jackies to anyone in need of peace and healing!!!

  MAGICAL!!!

  I stayed at Jackie's On The Reef at the beginning of January 2021. Prior to my arrival she arranged transportation for me and Winston was my driver. He was so nice and knowledgeable of the island. Once I arrived to the property there were really no words to truly describe how BEAUTIFUL this place is (see pictures, but it doesn't do it justice). I was looking for a place where I could go to find a peace of mind, heal, relax, and discover my purpose. I received just that AND MORE. During my stay I had the chance to enjoy yoga( included), breakfast (included), lunch (not included w/stay but offered), and dinner (included). I was a little worried because I'm vegan and the possibility of there not being a variety, but I was SO wrong. The kitchen staff (Miss Gwen, Vonetta, and Ralph) were AMAZING! Every dish and juice that was prepared for me was DELICIOUS! They do offer other food options as well. Everything is natural and comes from her garden. During your stay "Mama Jackie" requires you to have two treatments during your stay. I took advantage of the body scrub (with facial) and the deep tissue massage. Both of my services were done by Aneisha and she was AMAZING! I'd also never done yoga before, but both of my yoga instructors (Johanna and Sativa) were GREAT! One of the most important people at Jackie's is mama Jackie herself! She is GEM! I was the only one on the property during my stay, so we had a chance to bond and she gave me an EXPERIENCE I WILL NEVER FORGET! I could write a book about my experience, but if you are looking for self-care, love, time for self, and quietness, please stay here. I PROMISE you won't be disappointed!
