  Down memory lane!!!

  It has been a while but we have stayed more than once before and enjoyed reading tripadvisor reviews so booked a night on our way north - looking forward to relaxing in the restaurant after a long days drive. Sadly it was booked out that night!!!! But Angie had the answers - two options!!!! She would get us a courtesy bus to a club or - if we were happy we could have a choice of two meals to our room. Our room was big - lovely table and chairs beside the window so we chose roast pork and it was just great!!!!! Comfy beds, good shower, a great nights sleep for these oldies just like old times. Had to leave early so did not make brekkie next morning. Thanks Angie - you and Tony are running a lovely affordable place to stay.

  The best get away from the city

  The staff, currently helping out all the firefighters in the area, worked relentlessly and despite meeting the needs of exhausted firefighters, were able to attend to our needs, the rooms were clean and beds excellent, the food was better than a homemade meal and the people were just lovely. Jacarandas, rabbits and kangaroos to make someone from the city feel like they were in a country lodge setting, I would definitely stay again!

  Overnight Stay

  Angie is a delight to deal with. We needed a place to stay for one night (essential travel) as we were moving house in the middle of COVID-19. Thank you for staying open for us. The place is super clean and clearly loved dearly. Its dated decor but that is really part of the charm and booking direct (dont give the big guys the commission in this climate!!!) for $110 is a bargain. Amazingly comfortable mattress!!!

  Great place to stop over

  Just stayed one night on our way north but staff were very friendly, room was well layed out and clean. Bonus is that it has a restaurant onsite so once youre there no need to go anywhere else. Food was yum too!

  A well located motor lodge

  The motel offers great views of the Clarence valley. The staff are friendly and the evening meals are excellent. The pool was lovely after a hot day's work. This a very convenient stay for the business traveller.
