Only stay here if you want a secluded trip with difficulty reaching the main town.Pros: great view of the sea Peaceful as in the forest. Cons: totally in the middle of no where. Do not stay here if you want to go to the full moon party as you will have great difficulty getting transport to and from the beach. The pool was green and unusable The staff were initially not present and did not speak a single word of English. It was deserted so not sociable. The room was extremely basic with holes in the sheet. The rooms are built on stilts with questionable support.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!Checked in and checked out the same day; it was absolutely the most disgusting hotel (if you can even call it that) I have ever stayed in. 1) it is literally in the jungle there is nothing around it, taxi's don't go there and it's a steep walk up and down this area. 2) the bungalow itself is horrid there are holes in the walls, floor and door. There was also no door knob for our bathroom door with jagged pieces sticking out that could cut you should you try and close the door. The shower drain is a smashed up tile. The sink leaks on your feet when you are using it. And the sink tap does not work. 3) we had a rat in our room .. It scurried from the bottom of the floor up into our ceiling tiles where it would remain the rest of our time there squeaking from above. 4) another traveller found a poisonous centipede in their room - granted we are in the jungle but there are several ways to better proof your bungalows for these types of animals/insects that J Sea view simply did not do (ie the huge gap under the door and holes in the wall) 5) even trying to approach your bungalow the path is treacherous - the rocks are jagged and not well lit, anyone could easily injure themselves while trying to get to their room. Overall this place is the worst hotel I have ever been to - it was unsanitary, disgusting and WAY OVERPRICED (we were paying 50$CAD a night to stay in this rat infested place). Only stay here if it is the last possible option. To be honest you're better off sleeping on the street or beach. STAY AWAY!!

Jungle experienceAt first it will not look like most of the photo's, dont expect it to be a full resort. To get there you will have to take a taxi or rent a scooter. It's quite a bit uphill and driving can be hard if you're not experienced. The Bungalows are very simple from wood, which means smaller animals like lizzards can crawl in at night. They have a simple restaurant with decent food for normal prices. Wi-FI connection is one of the better ones on the island. The view from the restaurant and rooms are beautifull and it's nice and quiet. The staff in friendly like most thai. Make sure that you're okay with living a bit in the open air, as I said, the floor is made out of wood and in some places you can see the ground beneath it. I enjoyed it, the jungle experience, but keep in mind this is not at the beach.
