  Town Home stay

  My wife and two children stayed at the 2 bedroom villa and had a very relaxing weekend. The kids enjoyed the pool time and fishing on the lake. We did also get on the golf course that had only three holes but it was great for entertaining the kids.

  Nice room.......check restaurant hours

  We decided to try Izaty's. The room was very nice. We had an end suite in the Inn on the 2nd floor with a patio. The rooms have apparently just been remodeled. You can get to the patio from both the living room and the bedroom. Two disappointments First, for the elderly like ourselves, just know that there is a fairly steep walk up to the front door of the Inn. You cannot drive up to it. You have to unload down below also and push your luggage up this incline. I am sure it is fine for a younger set, and they did help us, but even the walk in rain (which we had) is uncomfortable. It is curious to me since there is room for a nice curved driveway up to the front door which would be more convenient for everyone. It will probably keep us from returning. The other disappointment is that nowhere that I could find did it mention their restaurant was closed on Monday and does not open again until noon on Tuesday. Everyone deserves time off....I get it. But we probably wouldn't have stayed here had we known this. We had to hunt for both dinner and breakfast and there's not many options out there.

  Amazing food---a must visit!!!

  We are townhome owners at Izaty's and have had the pleasure to eat some of the most amazing foods I have had the pleasure of eating. Rather than the usual deep fried and traditional bar food (although you can get that), Chef Brian and his crew routinely create the tastiest, most innovative, and delicious food I'd had the pleasure of enjoying. From an unbelievable appetizer of mussels, which are bathed in the best sauce imaginable (I'd drink it with a spoon if given the chance) to a turkey club which is the best ever, to a different eclectic and incredible soup offering every week, one hardly knows what to choose. I always look forward to what is new on the menu...mahi sliders, cubanos, various incredible Thai, Vietnamese, and Asian offers which are always an experience in new seasonings, tastes, and presentation. Oh, and if you're really hungry, you must save room for what is guaranteed to be a dessert you'll not forget. I heartily encourage you taking the time to check their menu, and be prepared to be delighted by one of the most creative and innovative chefs I've ever experienced....and it's in the clubhouse at Izaty's....right now just pick up...but that's superb, and when it opens you must try it...I'll likely see you there!!

  Customer Services Need Improvement

  My family just went to Izatys for a family vacation. We were immediately put off by the lack of cleanliness in the condo. We found half drank waterbottles, half eaten applesauce cups, and dirty linens in the closets. The sofas in the living room were so worn out that you basically sunk right into the floor or slipped right off them. We also discovered that the unit we were staying in did NOT have WiFi as advertised, which was a problem for a few family members who needed it to check in with their jobs throughout the week. Furthermore, the AC units in the beach villa were so loud that it sounded like a motorcycle or a chainsaw was right in the room with you. We also almost did not get our pre-scheduled pontoon rental because the boat was in disrepair. Izatys staff did nothing to remedy any of these issues and would not offer us any discounts or other kinds of reimbursement. Our family always makes the best of any situation so we still had a great week, but it was a mutual decision that we will not be staying at Izatys again. They need to hold their tenants to higher standards if they are renting out their condos and villas to others. We were NOT impressed.

  Terrible Customer Service

  This was the second time we stayed at Izaty's and I have to say I am not going back. We rented a Town-home from Sunday-Wednesday and supposedly the people who stayed before us stole the wi-fi unit, so we did not have wi-fi our entire stay there. We were there during weekdays and needed wi-fi to work. We followed up every single day, and were told it will be there any time now. The staff promised us compensation when we checked out, and to have a manager call us. No one called, and they charged the balance without even emailing us an invoice. We made patio reservations at the restaurant on Sunday night before it closed for Tuesday dinner. On Tuesday when we went, we were told they do not take reservations for outdoor seating. Social distancing rules were not followed. Multiple follow up calls from my end and no response. Not one apology, nothing ! Definitely NOT impressed, and NEVER going back !
