  Excellent Health Club

  Being a fitness fanatic I found Ivys Health club very accessible with good parking space, very clean with specious shower and changing Rooms. My fitness Trainer is always on point and keeps interacting with me something I was missing from the previous one. Money well spent for me!!!

  Stands out from the rest.

  This not being my first visit, I could immediately see a lot of improvements that had taken place. The bar and restaurant were very welcoming, the gym and it's facilities had been upgraded. A piano has been introduced in the restaurant and having a live pianist makes it special. The kids park is a great get-away for children while those adults who fancy a bit of open fire barberque roast can go to the hotel gardens. The room was very clean and inviting. There was a good variety of options at all meal times.

  Easter Week/Weekend

  I always stay at IVYS Hotel mostly because the staff are very friendly and services are brilliant all around. I have stayed at IVYS before and this time just turned up without a booking. No effort was spared in finding me a room that suited me. Having been delayed in Leeds due to fog in Amsterdam, I missed my connection and ended up on another flight via Nairobi. Getting to the hotel at 4am the hotel was able to prepare me a meal at such at time - Great :) Going out their way to accommodate additional requirements from guests is a plus.

  RUN!!!!!

  I brought a group of 13 there Late Jan 2019. 1) There is NO room with a kitchen anywhere in the hotel. There was a table with a coffeemaker. 2) Wi-FI went down and stayed down for 8 days. They refused to buy what needed to be bought to fix it. 3) The executive suite is older, and smaller than the junior suites but $70 more per night 4) Their "restaurant" gets just about every order wrong and serving a larger group can take 45 minutes from when the first until the last person is served. 5) I've never felt a herder bed in my life 6) I'm 6'1" the bed is 6" from headboard to footboard. you have to sleep on an angle if you are tall. 7) Half of the refrigerators in our group did not work 8) COCKROACHES IN AND ON THE FOOD!!! The people who work there are very polite, but powerless to do anything more than apologize. I will never bring a group there again.

  Stayed at hotel with service group based on locations, price and amenities. Some people in the group found it acceptable while others had some issues. Pros: 1- location (in regards to where our service project was), 2- nice amenities such as pool, exercise room, masseuse on premise, bar, 3- staff was very accommodating to requests, Cons: 1- some rooms in the group were nice, others were not as nice, 2- internet was spotty at best, 3- lighting in rooms could be enhanced The group ate at the hotel several times and although there were a few mixups, they were addressed. Most of the group though not all were satisfied with the quality of food. Have stayed at a number of hotels in developing countries and this hotel is similar in terms of what to expect versus the price paid. The absolute best thing the hotel had going for them was Brian, who was always in the background handling food orders, bar and seating requests, getting currency exchanged and trying to resolve issues as they arose. He clearly had a love for helping people and trying to make their stay as pleasant as possible. Greta job Brian!
