  A very fine hotel, excellent food at reasonable prizes.

  We chose this hotel because it was described as a good quality hotel. They only have non-smokers rooms which suit us perfectly. The access to the rooms were good though the reception was placed in the other end of the hotel, so a bit running with heavy luggage. The dinner was tasty with sizzling beef in the Chinese style. Plenty of mushrooms and a baked potato and a very nice soup as starter.The view to a medieval tower of a near-by church was quite romantic. Maria? The room was an adequate size. Pleasant medium separate beds. The morning buffet very nice as well. It it is certainly a place we shall use as a our stop-over for France.

  Spacious rooms and great breakfast

  I stayed here for 3 nights in March 2016. My room was very pleasant, spacious and clean. I had a nice en-suite too. Breakfast was fantastic - lots of variety, fresh foods and freshly prepared eggs were made and served in the dining space. I would definitely come back here again if in Hildesheim or the surrounding area.

  Worth a detour

  Situated 10 km from the highway, in verdure and perfect for dog owners like us. Large room on the ground floor with a terrace overlooking a big lawn, which our dog loved. Arriving after a long day's drive, we were happy to notice that the hotel restaurants nice outdoor terrace catches the evening sun. A popular restaurant- and we understand why. A menu with a wide range of typical German food, as well as international dishes. The breakfast and the personal have the ambition of a five star hotel!

  Family run hotel close to Hannover

  I have stayed in this hotel for 3 or 4 times. Mainly because of its good location to the Hannover exhibition Centre (good 20 minutes by car). It is a typical German hotel with a main house that also accomodates the restaurant and a 2nd house directly behind the main with more rooms. The younger 2nd house has bigger rooms. The main house is generally well maintained but the age shows in the hall and stairways and in the smaller rooms. The restaurant has a rather typical German menu with lots of Schnitzels etc. I like the Dornfelder half dry wine they serve. The overall quality is good although I feel that the price increase in the last few years exceeds the increase in quality and performance...

  Good sleep and breakfast

  Stayed for 2 nights in the Guesthouse not the main building. All in all the stay was good. Location: nothing special to explore in that small village but the Hotel is close to Hannover fair area and also the automotive supplier in Hildesheim. Room: room was spacious and clean, however the interior is already little outdated and just functional WiFi: very sluggish and company login wasnt even possible Breakfast: very good and personal service Value for money: the asking price (high tariff because of ongoing fair) is not in line with the overall experience >250/night => one star reduced
