  Muy buen hotel

  Estuvimos en este hotel alojados durante dos noches y la lástima fue que nos tuvimos que ir a pasar la tercera noche a otro hotel cercano porque no habíamos reservado con antelación y ya no había sitio. La habitación era espaciosa pero el baño lo era aún más. Cama confortable,sin ruidos del exterior. Nevera,secador,aire acondicionado y pantuflas de cortesía. Esta en una zona con mucho ambiente, tiendas,restaurantes,cines,gente a mogollón. El hotel esta en la novena planta de un edificio donde en la planta baja hay muchas tiendas de electrónica,por lo que resulta un poco difícil encontrarlo. El desayuno estaba incluido en el precio y nos pareció muy completo. Por supuesto tiene todo tipo de comida oriental, arroz,sopas,guisos variados pero también tenía tortilla,bacon y pan con mantequilla y mermeladas variadas para el público más occidental. Volvería sin duda a este hotel.

  Surprisingly good

  We booked this hotel 1 week before the flight. After reading the reviews here I was expecting the worst but I was pleasantly surprised. Location wise it was really in the middle of everything. 5 mins to the MRT and Ximending area The building itself is old and the elevator can be improved. It can be difficult to find it at first but it is not so hidden The check in was smooth The rooms are small. But the toilet are fairly big, almost the same size as the sleeping area and the beds. Housekeeping is good. Amenities are replenished daily. Overall, i would recommend this to those who want to stay where the action is

  Good hotel at affordable price.

  My husband booked the wrong date at another hotel and we got stranded without a hotel. So I just tried my luck and booked this on agoda last min. Thank god it was not to shabby. The rooms looked a little old and some of the cabinets had some weird smell. But staff is very helpful and friendly. The only down thing is they insist on only letting us check in at 3 pm. But I guess that was the standard for Taiwan Hotel. I booked for this with really low expectations so it did exceed my expectations. Our room came with a bath tub. The hotel was a little hard to find at first. Thank god we call the hotel and the staff actually came down to fetch us. The easiest way to find the lift is to enter the entrance right behind the gym and turn to your left the lift to the hotel will be just a few steps walk from there. Location is located in the middle of ximending.

  Just really, really bad

  Spend your money somewhere else! My expectations were rather low because of the mixed reviews, but it turned out to be worse than I thought it would be: 1.The noise isolation is so ridiculously bad that I had to get up in the middle of the night to buy earplugs at 7 - eleven. You could hear every word from the hallway. Even with earplugs it was hard to sleep because of the noise. 2. The rooms are tiny and worn down with stains all over the carpet. 3. My room had no window. 4. The receptionist spoke very limited english. For the prices they charge you could find something so much better, even with breakfast included, by just looking a bit (which is what I did after two nights at this shack).

  Musty, old and poorly maintained .... a nightmare

  This inn is misleading through the pictures posted on the Agoda website. The picture showed a fairly new room but when we checked in, they gave us a room that was dusty and musty. The carpet was old and emitted that awful stench which made me feel nauseous. The beds are old and the wooden table or sideboard looked ready to peel from age.... we asked for a change of room but still the room was cramped and the toilet flooring when wet was highly slippery, a hazard for all ages. This inn should undergo a massive renovation before offering hospitality services. We checked out after one night though we paid in full for all three nights. Though its located at the heart of Ximending, I would not stay there.
