  Obligado a marcharme por la mala educación del personal

  Se reservaron 2 semanas en el Island Inn, el 8 de junio. La primera nos enfrentamos a problemas con el personal, concretamente con Anthony, el camarero durante la cena, ya que sus rudos comentarios me arruinaron cualquier momento agradable de la cena. Pese a ello, solíamos cenar principalmente en los muchos restaurantes variados y excelentes para entonces, por lo que decidimos "aguantarnos". Sin embargo, la segunda semana los problemas con el personal se multiplicaron con Michael, uno de los camareros y principal problema. Durante nuestra estancia no se mostró nada servicial, en absoluto, pero una noche se superó a sí mismo. Por lo general, disfrutamos de 4 a 5 periodos vacacionales al año, pero nunca habíamos conocido a nadie tan mal educado. En estas circunstancias, hicimos la maleta y nos marchamos la mañana siguiente con un gusto de boca muy amargo. No te alojes aquí.

  The Place toStay

  We have stayed three times now so far and this recent one was just a amazing. A small, friendly hotel with bungalows around a garden, the courtyard or the pool, It is ideal if you want a quiet, relaxing holiday on Barbados. Being All Inclusive,you can just sit and relax whilst the barman pours your favourite drink. All the staff are very friendly (we were even remembered as previous guests).Food is excellent with lots of choice. If you like walking you can just go to the beach, a stone's throw away and walk to Bridgetown. The only decision you have to make during the day is, relax by the pool or go to the beach; Heaven!!

  Another great stay

  Our 5th visit and as lovely as ever. Lots of returning couples. Dont expect lots of entertainment but great for a quiet holiday with easy access to a beautiful beach and easy walk into Bridgetown and busses . Will be back probably for 3 weeks next time.

  Superb small friendly resort hotel

  This resort hotel only has 24 rooms so you get to meet most of the guests around the bar ! Decor is beautiful, food excellent not at all like most all inclusive resort food, service excellent , staff will do anything for you. Literally 2 minutes walk to Carlisle Bay's beautiful beach. Rooms have everything you need. Hopefully it will re-open after the virus has receded.

  Island Inn

  Quirky, Quaint and Colonial is how I would describe this lovely hotel. Only 24 rooms all on one level. We arrived the day before my birthday and what a wonderful birthday it was to. Everything about this was excellent. There were a lot of couples there that were returning and some many times, which tells you something in its self. All the staff were fantastic, always cheerful and happy. Only two minutes out the door to Pebbles beach which is fabulous in its self. My daughter and son in law came one of the weeks we were there and they had a great time. Yes the clientele is on the older side generally but it is so friendly that all ages can enjoy being here. I would add one exception and that its not a hotel that is good for a young family holiday. It is an all inclusive hotel but meals were served at the table. We would all meet at the bar for cocktails before dinner and had wonderful conversation and met some absolutely amazing people and characters. To go on to much would make everything boring for you but I can honestly say it was one of the best holidays I have had if not the best. Very much thanks to the Management and Staff of the Island Inn Hotel. I am writing this sadly as we are locked in here in the UK like a lot of the world. But hope that everyone out there are safe and well. We plan to be back in 2021 subject to health. Stay safe everyone. Here some photos to keep you smiling and. Until next time
