Terrible Hotel!! Isawanya Beach Resort, Pattaya = UnacceptableIsawanya Beach Resort, Pattaya, is an extremely bad hotel... The pictures and the reality are totally different. The pictures might be token last ten year ago. I'm Thai people who used to visited Isawanya Beach Resort, Pattaya. Therefore, I don't want them to lie foreigners for staying here. At first I don't know too. I paid for USD 20.00 for this room. However, when I arrived there, I was so shock. Although I had already paid for the room, I left the hotel immediately to look for other hotel because it seems like the hotel in the scary movie. The room at Isawanya Beach Resort is extremely old and smell badly especially the closet. Bathroom is very small, only 4 sqm. without separated shower zone. The water heater was damaged. If someone gave this room to me for free, i wouldn't stay for sure. At USD 20.00, I confirmed that you could find newer and better hotel than this. Voucher voucher 1,200

Very old hotel but renovate to be new... Not work out!!!Hotel is not worth for value at all... I bought ensogo coupon, 1250, end up that weekend is fully booked two monthes ahead... So we finally need to go for weekday. The hotel building is old... Better call Motel!!! The bathroom is very small and old... Smell from pipeline as well.... A bit lucky, we got room sea view in front, so the room is big and good view.

this is not "Hotel"I don't understand why Isawanya dares to call itself as "hotel". This is extremely bad accommodation. The photograph on the website is totally different from the real. Toilet is very dirty more than you can imagine. The hotel claims in ensogo that superior room is 3,000++ baht, but from what i see, just 500 baht is maximum for this kind of room. Nothing to say except "TERRIBLE"!!!!!!!!

Mosquito plus mold and fungi...Suck HotelToday is 18 May, 2012. I just arrived the hotel around 20.00 pm. and i found that my room was so terrible room... A lot of insects, ants and mosquito. My husband and I have to hit mosquito first before unpack stuffs. Then, they are too much so i have to ask front to do something. The staff come to my room with insect spray can. I have to wait at the pool for 20 minutes and a lot of mosquito bite me... What the hell hotel! I found out later that the bathroom is full of fungi and mold on the ceiling and walls. We can' t change the room because they are full. There are only 2 pillows in the room. If you want more, you have to pay 50 baht per pillow.

Good for its valueGot a "Superior triple" room in this hotel during promotion from tourist company. Cheapest tour ever so I was expecting terrible conditions and prepared to move into other hotel if required. Upon arrival we were met by hotel staff and accommodated very quickly on the second floor. The room itself was large enough to fit 2 regular and one folding bed. Room itself is clean however there was slight smell of mold in room and traces of same in one corner of room and one corner of toilet. Shower area is not separated from toilet area by curtain/barrier, which is very uncomfortable - always water on the floor etc. Room itself was with balcony which we used to dry our towels. Hotel population was mostly Russians. I think I have seen a couple of Germans but I am not sure. Even hotel reception is decorated with "Matryoshkas" - Russian national dolls which serves as a clear message to everyone - this hotel is for Russians. However, unlike in other places I have been to, my compatriots were very quiet, behaving properly and not drinking. Maybe the reason for that was that hotel is relatively far from entertainment center of Pattaya and only people seeking relatively quiet rest stay here. There are 2 large swimming pools at the hotel. Unfortunately the larger one was not working at the time of my stay but the small one is good as well. It has separate section for children as well. There is no dedicated restaurant or bar in the hotel however breakfast is served daily 7 to 10. Regular continental breakfast and some thai food. Nothing special, average selection. Free Wi-Fi. Portable lockbox available from reception for 500 baht. No hotel deposit. Room was properly and promptly cleaned every day. For cheap food - head from hotel to the right (in direction of city center) and near police box by entrance to Sigma hotel you will find small Thai cafe which makes non-spicy Thai food. Tom Yum is the most expensive item on the menu and it is only 80 baht! Everything else is even less expensive. There is a good "Japanese" restaurant which you can find if you go in the opposite direction - away from city center, which, I would say, is up to european standards of service for moderate price. They serve Thai, Japanese and European food. I would not recommend "Seaside restaurant" - there are 2 just next to the Isawanya on each side - too expensive and service is terrible. Cheap laundry is on the first turn on the right from the hotel - 10 baht per piece for laundry and ironing.
