  Hotel de poca calidad, suciedad bajo las camas y desayuno cutre

  En 2006 estuve en Mykonos, Paros, Naxos y Santorini y éste fue, con diferencia el peor hotel del viaje. Su categoría oficial es tres estrellas (calificación griega) pero en España sería una estrella escasa. La limpieza de habitaciones brilla por su ausencia. Barren y lo dejan bajo la cama. El desayuno es escaso y de poca calidad (no es buffet, ni mucho menos). Tiene la ventaja de que es tranquilo al estar algo apartado del centro de Kamari, pero las distancias no son grandes, aunque a pleno sol. Yo no lo recomendaría a nadie, más bien al contrario.

  Now called Alitana boutique hotel

  Recently refurbished and is of a good standard. Nice swimming pool opp main complex and in a good location.Very clean and rooms ok with nice bathroom and safe and aircon that works and a small fridge. Breakfast is pretty basic with the usual bread, cheese, mixed meats etc but ok. Have given 4 stars due to the lack of a kettle in the room so bring your own, there are plenty of plugs and the coffee situation at breakfast. Management could do with investing in better self service coffee machine. Apart from the minor issues all good with very friendly staff.

  So Disorganised

  Currently staying in what is now called the Alitana Boutique hotel I feel compelled to write a review. The reception and booking system are so disorganised. We arrived late Saturday evening having booked to stay at the Santorini houses, which is one of their 3 blocks of hotels. They didn't have our reservation even though confirmed so gave us a room in their main block until they could sort out in the morning. Room number 201 right next to reception so needless to say we didn't sleep with people checking in, phone ringing etc. We chose Santorini houses as it had self catering facilities and we had brought some produce with us to cook. Next morning we were informed we could not stay in the Santorini houses as none were available and we could have a room in the Alitana boutique which was an upgrade so the receptionist reminded me several times. I don't think the receptionist enjoys her work she never smiles and everything seems to be such a chore. We took room 103 lower level floor which was ok apart from the cleaners wake you up every morning chatting outside the hotel, well outside our room. We've asked today to keep our room on as we have a late departure guess what they don't know who is coming in on Saturday. There's a surprise. I write this review very tired so excusing my rant the good points are the rooms just recently refurbished are of a good standard and clean. The large kingsize bed is very comfortable. Shower not very powerful or hot but ok to get showered. There is a small fridge in the room which is great for water and our unused bacon and sausages. Lol. Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. Rooms cleaned daily with clean towels. Breakfast is cereal, ham, boiled eggs bread etc typical continental breakfast. There is a decent size pool opposite with a bar. The lady who manages the pool and the breakfasts is very pleasant and will do anything for you. The hotel is relatively close to the beach, bars and restaurants.

Name has change, a lot has changed, thus it is now a different hotel. People wanting to write reviews should go there instead, as this page will probably get closed/deleted at some point as the hotel on display here does no longer exist.

  Great memories!

  I had a great time on Santorini and in this hotel. The staff is very, very nice, they know English and they helped us a lot. The breakfast is ok, a lot of food, nothing special, we ate everything. Our room had the biggest balcony in the world! Room is very nice, clean. The pool is very nice. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Hotel is very near the city beach and the bus station.
