    Excellent Hotel!

I absolutely loved staying in this hotel. Service, staff, view-everything was just wonderful! My room was on executive floor, and it was very spacious, bathroom with two faucets, and really nice balcony. Hotel's location is superb, and I am definitely going to stay here again.

    Good Value

We chose this hotel to have a few days relaxing by the coast and getaway from the hustle bustle of the cities and tourist traps. Our deluxe room was perfect to sit and relax, read watch TV or simply gaze out over the beach and harbour, through the two large windows. Room size was around 66m2 more than adequate for the two of us. Admittedly our stay was low season (November) but we were still disappointed that we were not told that some of the restaurants and the swimming pool would be closed! However the staff were very pleasant, enthusiastic and helpful including the minibus driver who really excelled. The hotel offers bicycle rental and mini golf for a small charge, I think there may also be other facilities in the high season. The hotel is located right down on Irago Cape, quite a journey from Toyohashi (90min) by bus or minibus if you do not have a rental car. We struggled to find any shops, cafes or restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, you really need a car here. The harbour is 10 min walk and you can catch the ferries to Toba etc, the port also has a small shop and eatery. Overall a pleasant stay but a little too remote for us, especially without a car. Things would have been better if all the hotel facilities were available. Nevertheless we had a nice stay and even managed to get sunburnt in November - how about that!

Beautiful ocean view from a fabulous room!

We booked a "standard" twin room, which was anything but standard! Each bed was a double size bed, the bathroom and room was enormous, and we the side facing the ocean was two glass doors that opened to a balcony over the sandy beach (ok, all the rooms here have ocean views, but still!!). Service was impeccable. Buffet style dinner included sashimi of your choice (I am not a sashimi or sushi connoisseur, but was able to just point to the various fish on display that I wanted to try) prepared specially by a chef and eaten at a table by a window where we watched the sun set over the ocean. Lots of things to do here, including rental bikes so you can ride the bike path along the ocean (or anywhere around the cape area,) rental fishing poles, a library with decent computers and internet (free). We were off season, but the souvenir shop was still open, and there was live music in the lobby/lounge area. We rode our own bikes, and within 5 miles of the hotel there is a konbini, several restaurants, a large dam with a walking path around it, and various melon shops (a lot were closed because we were off season, but there was a larger one with all sorts of melon goods and a cafe attached to it that was open...pasta there was quite good and inexpensive, $9 for a lunch set including salad and bread.) Wish we had time to stay longer!!!

Best price with Ocean View !

Room size is big and the balcony facing to ocean view. Room is standard and nothing special. Wifi only at lobby not inside of room. Only few Japanese Restaurants nearby but close around 8pm. From hotel to ferries , it take few minutes by bus and other 45 mins to Mikimoto pearl island Toba. Or, take 90 minutes by city bus to Other direction - Toyohashi JR station.

    Nice location

Having got a discount hotel voucher, I stayed at this hotel with my wife. The room we stayed at was spacious and was equipped with a massage chair. It lived up to its reputation. Whilst, I was worried about its meals because I had seen many negative reviews about that. However both dinner and breakfast were delicious and we were satisfied with them. I don't know if the meals we ate were the same quality as the one they'd eaten. The restaurant has a great view. If weather permits, you can have dinner seeing beautiful sunset.
