Accommodation Let Down1st time in Pefkhori and the resort itself is fine. Pity the same can't be said about the Ioli Village, The pictures are deceiving as were the notes the Travel Agent read to us "Undergoing a renovation prior to the 2019 summer season" If they had one it didn't quite reach our apartment. New toilet basin fitted but an old toilet seat & lid [looked like it had come from the home of a heavy smoker] fitted on top. Shower was supposed to be a wet room but anything past a moderate pressure and the water flooded out into the hall & kitchen area. Interior doors didn't fit properly. The pool is nice but doesn't open until 1000hrs and Konstantinos behind the bar is a lovely guy but the pool area was never cleaned, cigarette butts on the ground and sun umbrellas that were years past their best. We had an 09:00hrs pick up so we had to check out the night before because they couldn't be bothered to open the reception before that time. By all means go to Pefkhori but pick different accommodation to the Ioli.

Never againSad to say that we will never come back here. After a 4 hour flight and 2 hour transfer we arrived to be left on the roadside at 12.30am with no rep to take us to our apartment. We walked in pitch darkness down an Alley with our luggage and very tired children and went straight to bed. It was freezing. 4 of us, 3 blankets! Next morning we discovered that everything in the complex was closed, great for self catering NOT. Having spoken to the rep it seems everything is closed because its the last week. Funny that as we have paid for this holiday with Jet2 its not a freebee! Ive just been to ask for extra blankets for the night and been told the caretaker doesnt work Sundays and they cant get another one from another apartment despite there being hundreds of rooms and only 12 jet 2 passengers in the complex. Its okay , my children, Husband and I will manage with inadequate bedding and 3 sets of towels. This is not good for a first experience of Greece and Jet 2. Caution if booking here!

Dreadful placeBeware of the economy room, its uninhabitable! The toilet didnt flush, its essentially in the shower, dark, grotty, beyond basic. When we complained we were offered only an upgrade at significant cost. Even our upgraded room had issues. Hotel staff were rude and mislead us on how to raise a complaint. Pool revolting. I cant think of anything good.

Not the best but quite acceptableI went with jet 2 the room was updated and clean , however no air conditioning in the living room made it difficult to sleep . My daughter and granddaughter had the main bedroom. We had breakfast in the restaurant twice but agree with other reviews that is very poor - the staff were so bored it was laughable so dont bother with it. A holiday is what you make it -the pool area was great fun for my granddaughter who found lots of other girls to play with -she had an amazing time, and the pool was safe and warm. Yes the tables next to the sun beds were filthy but there were plenty of sun beds and music playing all day. Pefkohori seafront is alive with bars shops and restaurants and is not expensive -a very popular resort with thousands of holidaymakers so lots of atmosphere. I went in August. I would say Ioli village is not suitable for small children as there is nowhere for them to play -and dont take them on the beach -its packed and slopes away extremely quickly so is dangerous to none swimmers - be warned. I didnt know what to expect and I enjoyed it and would go again .

Lovely family holidayBasic but adequate accommodation, great location and welcoming for families. Pool was grubby - well worth the 1 mile walk to the quiet beach at the end of the resort. Breakfast not particularly vegetarian friendly but adequate.
