  A base before & after climbing Elbrus

  A huge block of concrete in the middle of the town. Not fancy but does the job. This place is clean and works as a pre and post base for climbing Mount Elbrus. The surrounding town is nothing special. Ticked the boxes for what I need it for.

  Used as base before & after Elbrus climb

  Stayed one (1) night enroute to Elbrus and two (2) nights on return. The hotel is an unattractive concrete block above the centre of the city. stayed in Room 611 and 619 - face the mountain side of the hotel. Room was twin beds and small bathroom with a small balcony. It did the trick and was clean and comfortable - with a working air conditioner. Breakfast is served on the first floor in a banquet hall which gives a "lost" feeling - and the food could have been served in this room, creating a bit more atmosphere. The restaurant downstairs on the veranda is apparently not connected - whilst the food was good the service is absolutely shocking. Its a short stroll down the hill to the main (only?) shopping street which is fairly modern with a good selection of shops and restaurants.

  Nice Hotel

  I had 2 nights accommodation this hotel. Hotel is 3 star, old but service good, breakfast is good, cleaning nice and personal is professional. They made our stay much more than 3 star. Also location and view is just lovely. Thank you guys.

  My Choice in Pyatigorsk

  We had the chance to stay at the InTourist Hotel while visiting the Mineral Springs area. The lobby are features a Spa, restaurant/bar and coffee shop. There is also a souvenir stand and nicer items in cases for sale. The staff at the desk was efficient if not pleasant. There a 24 hour security post by the elevator. The elevators are small, real small. No one seemed to mind. The room and furnishings were attractive. We had a balcony with a view. Along with a door, there is a window that opens for air. We had a TV and fridge with complimentary waters. The bathroom featured a circular shower, robes and a towel warmer and plenty of bathroom sundries. Breakfast was included and was a highlight. It was one of the best spreads of food that I have seen in Russia. Hot and cold food. It was a self service bar and no one even checked our tickets. We enjoyed it completely. The free Wifi worked well and there is evidently airport transportation. We did not drive, so I cannot vouch for parking, but it is gated. There is also a bank machine outside. There are banquet and meeting facilities. In all, this hotel was convenient to where we were going. besides a small elevator and bed that was also on the small side, we had no complaints. We would be happy to stay here again.

  Not the best service!!!

  All the rooms till 7th floor are just horrible, they are still like in Soviet Times . I changed my room to business , but the room is so small for that name... I had to ask several time to prepare my check in docs , but they couldnt do it within 6 hours . Only the location is good in this hotel ! So , if you have to save money , you will loose your nerves :(
