  Razonable

  El hotel est limpio y las habitaciones son normales. El servicio es amable. Est muy bien situado, cerca del museo de la guerra y varios restaurantes muy buenos. Se puede ir andando a Mamayev Kurgan, si no es invierno. El desayuno es tipo buffet, siempre es el mismo y no muy variado.

  Peaceful and Relaxing

  The hotel is an old Soviet style building located centrally just 10 minutes walk from the train station. Its also only a short walk to Volga river and many restaurants. Inside the hotel its classical style with chandeliers and high ceilings. I upgraded to a business room which gave me more space and a lovely view of the main square. The reception staff spoke English and were helpful and friendly. The hotel seemed very quiet with few guests and it was very peaceful and relaxing. There was not much choice for breakfast maybe because there were few guests. Overall i can recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a comfortable and centrally located hotel in the city.

  Central, accessible location in a good area

  I stayed here for two nights during the period between Christmas and New Year and was very happy with my choice. The room was warm and comfortable with good wifi. The hotel is in a decent location in the city centre, a short walk from the tram station with some good cafes and restaurants nearby. The tourist sights are all easy to get to. I also recommend the bar which served good food and was a nice place to unwind in the evening.

  Unprofessional staff and doesn't care about customers

  Booked this hotel in September, 2019. During the booking process there was no single mentioning that the hotel accepts only certain type of document to prove Russian citizenship. When attempted to check in a CSR asked for a passport and when I presented one (for out-of-country trips) she said that they accept only internal passports. I explained that by law, since I reside outside the country, the out-of-country passport is also acceptable and that other hotels in the country where I stayed used that passport. My explanation was ignored and I was asked to provide my passport from another country which I did but again got the same response - that passport could not be accepted either (why then ask for another passport to begin with?). I had no choice but to ask for her manager. A conversation with the manager quickly turned into her monologue where she was constantly referring me to a law about Russian citizenship according to which she cannot accept any other documents other than the internal passport. My explanation that her statements are simply not true and attempts to provide references to specific Russian regulations (#1085 and #298 issued by the Russian government) were completely ignored. Apparently, the staff members I interacted with were incompetent and did not care about the position they put me in (I arrived at night and could not quickly find another hotel). Unless you want to experience the thrill of staying for a night on the street, stay away from this hotel.

  Bueno y centrico

  Está situado en la plaza principal de Volgogrado frente a la catedral en construcción , el teatro experimental y el edificio de correos y telégrafos. Bastante antiguo pero limpio.Desayuno buffet bueno.. Personal amable . En la cuarte planta hay una saña de planchado que pueden usar los clientes. Podrían evitarlas cortinas del baño y cambiarlas por una mampara. Mi habitación daba al parque donde está la llama eterna que representa a los soldados muertos durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
